What changes do you want Miles to make? Unfortunately, I think our best players are getting playing time.

Change up the LB position and take Johnson out because his injury is compromising the line. Let some youngsters play at DB. Try Kwon Alexander at safety.

Dude, Welter is not an answer in the middle. There is ZERO chance Beckwith does worse in the middle. Welter is the worst player I've seen play on LSU's defense since the Dinardo days.

Karnell Hatcher and Thomas Dunson agree!

3 point loss on the road in an SEC stadium to the best team I've seen this year = change everything.

What a depressing way to live that must be.

You can sugarcoat or spin it anyway you'd like, but if you don't think that LSU should have at least some minor changes and tweaks on the defense, then you are insane. That defense is putrid. It was exposed in the Georgia game. The Ole Miss, Alabama and Texas A&M games will really open you eyes. I just hope we can continue outscoring other teams.

We were "D LINE" or "DB" U.

Now, we're "The Welterweights".

A&M was right there with Bama with an offense slightly better than LSUs and a defense that is immensely worse.

LSU will get better, Bama will get better. We don't need LSU's 2003 defense to beat Bama this year.

Yep, Because to a lot of LSU fans the only game that matters on the schedule is Nov. 9th!

it's not the only game, it's just the most important game. if you do not win it, you will not win the west, can not play for a conference championship and will not play for a national title.

Honestly, the only major switch that makes sense now is to get Welter out of there and put in the young guys. Let them learn so that at least next year we aren't starting over yet again.

I think you could make a pretty good case for a switch at MLB, either safety spot, and one cornerback spot.

I also think you could make the case for a young DE to start getting more playing time...especially on run downs.

I hope so too, but I don't think that if they haven't improved throug 5 games (actually seem to have regressed) I don't see them improving enough to threaten to just slow Alabama, much less aTm. But I could be and hope I'm wrong. I certainly have been before. Let's get behind these Tigers (both squads) since they are our team and they are what they are. It certainly will make for some interesting games coming up.

Maybe you missed where he was 40 yards down field covering the deep outside zone. Hell, he was deeper than the corner and safety on some plays and we still got burned. I don't think any of our starters understand how to play a zone and pick up a defender as he moves into a zone. They are always late and way out of position. It's like they are clueless on how to look through their zone and into the offensive backfield to read the QB's eyes. I don't think Alexander should be playing safety but some of his zone drops make him look like he thinks he is a safety.

I expected a loss at GA.

But, I figured they would just make more plays than us. I never considered the possibility that our defense is in capable of making any plays.

People better make some adjustments to their expectations, or they are in for pure misery. Beating Bama is a pipe dream, but is the only attainable goal worth setting at this point.

FL and A&M are toss ups, and Ole Miss will be a struggle, unless we somehow know their play calls, too.

Enlighten us on the changes CLM has to make for you to happy

If something is not broken you do not fix it. If something is broken you figure out was is not working and do your best to fix it. Anyone that does not think our defense has issues and needs to be fixed, than you seriously don't know football and have never played the game. Just as an example Auburn ran for 213 yds in our house, against Miss St they only ran for 120yds at home.

If anyone thinks that the reason our defense looked so inept against UGA is because UGA is the offensive juggernaut. I will give you the fact that Murray is a very good QB and that UGA has a good offense, but if you don't think that A&M has a good offense and that Bama will not produce 40pts against our defense they way they are playing. All I can say is, time will tell.
People say "don't worry A&M's defense is horrendous" maybe so, but looking at our last game ours is too.

All I know is our defense is not working and is giving up too many yards on the ground so something needs to be done to try and fix it. All I can hope is if we can start to contain the run, then maybe we the safeties can do a lot better job helping over top.

Meh, to most LSU fans with a brain and without an agenda , doing something to relieve the numerous deep balls for 1st downs and tds and basic total confusion on our secondary would be more important.
We miss Eric Reid way more than minter.
But hey...frick that , lets hate on welter.
Much simpler.

Just read the transcript. Your title should say "Well no changes on Defense per Dudebro2's inability to comprehend, we will have to live with it."
