I can’t believe that no one has mentioned the auburn/Jamie Howard interception game. To this day I still can’t believe lsu kept throwing the ball. That was one long drive back to Baton Rouge.
Yes it was. I was in Tiger Band and that was our full band trip that year. We were at Bama the year before for the “When Pigs Fly” game, so it felt like destiny. Until it wasn’t. Lynn Amadee.

I was at the Amadeeville Horror and the Barn Burner in Tiger Band. We were right on the field and I remember looking back and seeing the flames a minute or two before the PA guy let us know we weren’t all about to die.
The weirdest game I remember was a random one that meant absolutely nothing. It was at home vs State in 1994. This was before the season went south vs Auburn the following week. Early in the game, the kicker (LeBlanc, maybe) accidentally booted a kickoff low into the back of a State player’s helmet. It went straight up in the air and LSU recovered.
If you’ve ever seen the horribly grainy video of Eddie Kennison fielding a punt and running backwards into the end zone with the entire stadium screaming “Nooooo,” and then changing to “Yesss” when we realized he had a convoy and was headed over 100 yards to the house- it was that State game. It wasn’t on TV, so only the people in the stadium will really remember this one.

USC'79 was the wildest atmosphere ever. Just amazing. USC was the most talented team to ever play in Tiger Stadium, believe they had 4 future HOF's on that team.

1982 Bama game in Birmingham. Bama did not score a first down in the first half.
I was at this game. My first road trip game as an LSU student.
I would have to pick Blue Grass Miracle as the wildest though. That was awesome. Pigs Fly Game in Bama and Auburn Barn Burner rank up there.

The Tennessee game in 2010
I remember I was updating my uncle because he was at the hospital since his wife was having a baby and I was giving him updates. Needless to say that he was really confused when I texted “We lost” only minutes later saying “Nope we won”

1987: A partially blocked Ohio State field goal attempt with five seconds remaining in the game kept it at 13-13 for then No. 7 OSU vs our No. 4 LSU Tigers.
Hodson was 25-45 for 267 yards, but had two costly picks in the 4th qtr, one down by the goal line.
I was a FR at LSU, sitting in the corner of the endzone in the student section. It was a WILD atmosphere and damn exciting FB game!

2005 Tenn was played on a Monday night, and that wasn’t even the weirdest part of that game. Les Miles 1st game in TS. Tenn 2nd half comeback by a former Tiger.
That Bama 2000 game was also strange. The Ref’s blew a call really bad and peaked at the Jumbotron to see which player from which team handed the ref the ball after the play. That game also featured some strange nudity on the field.

Tennessee 2010, but Bluegrass Miracle because I broke up with girlfriend with 10 mins left in Lexington. She was a USC fan and wanted to beat traffic. Wasn’t going to work but that was the moment of clarity.
