I hope CBK sticks with Weeks at linebacker this week against OM. He is quicker and better than Speights. CBK says he is 100% healthy. I would stick with Weeks and not rotate at except for maybe a short breather. Weeks has better speed and will get after Dart in passing situations better than Speights. I have not seen to much from Speights at all.

Weeks should get the start. Speights should get playing time. I wouldn’t count him out just yet

I would not take Penn out either, he is the better communicator.. Penn and Weeks should be the starters from now on.

I'm not saying he's played well but I don't know if its fair to fully judge him. He led the team in tackles vs FSU and got hurt at some point during that game. He then played extremely gingerly vs Grambling.

I also think we should start Weeks and Penn but Speights should definitely rotate in a good bit.

Weeks and Penn. Weeks mentioned Penn helping him in-game by asking him question due to Penn having experience at different LB Positions, so my 2 cents is Weeks and Penn - then rotate as needed.

All 3 will play

They aren't just going to sit speights on the bench after coming here for his money year.

Speights does look a step slow.

He would take more of penn's snaps not weeks.

exactly. this is a prove year for him to earn a living. once healthy i think speights will be a big contributor back as starter or some big time relief.

I'd stick with the Penn/ Whit, but I got a feeling it'll be Speights/ Penn to start, with Whit subbing in at Will next to either one at Mike.

Also, I love a good early game Scoreboard meltdown.

I want a LB who is obviously playing his heart out for the State of Louisiana. I think we know who that guy is. Good Luck Saturday Whit.

Not knocking the guy, but typically 5th year line backers aren’t screaming up the draft boards. If he was going to make a career out of it, you probably see him hit the draft last year.

I do think he can be a good player for us and will be relied on.

This is unnecessary man, Whit is playing well and playing hard for sure. But don’t imply that the other guys are not playing hard as well. Speights transferred here and we should appreciate all he gives to the team also.

From what I've seen on the field, Weeks. Had Speights been playing hurt all along?

The fact of the matter is they are all pretty much interchangeable. I’m sure they have a preference on who plays where but in the end they will all play.

Once they saw Perkins wasn’t a fit at MLB, they tried Speights there for a bit to start the Grambling game but mainly it’s been Weeks playing MLB & Penn on the weak side. They’ve switched here & there over the last two games but I think Weeks is prob the preference at MLB. Speights at WLB because that was the vision for him coming out of camp. Penn will play a bunch spelling both

Ole Miss will be the biggest test yet for these guys having to contain & make plays in space outside the tackles. Neither of the previous two matchups had any team speed.
