Late round pick at best and he leaves early. Unbelievable.

It was mentioned here months ago that he was going pro for mostly financial reasons for his family.

I understand his family was affected by the hurricane in Houston but man if he stayed another year, he probably would have went in rounds 1-3. Now he's lookin at 5-7. More money in the long run if he stayed.

His decision is purely based on trying to improve his family’s financial situation. Can’t fault him a bit for that.

LSU will never win a NC or SEC championship with the exodus every year by the juniors

Yes. Particularly good but not great ones. Weathersby will make about $1.2 million over three years before his NFL career is done if (and it’s a big if) he stays injury free. He will never make it to his second contract. If he were a Gump, they would make sure he understood this and understood that sticking through it would be in his long term best interest. But he’s not, and so he’ll just be another guy, retired from the nfl at 25 like so many former Tigers

Nice. Another excuse will be made about "lack of depth on the lines."

The offensive line should be fine. Pull your panties up Nancy

Is anyone really shocked by This?

I also feel with incoming linemen recruited, the OL depth will be just fine.

Must've saw who the OC is

No joke! It's not ironic, that Tolliver, Weathersby, and some others are now coming forward declaring for the draft. Now that S. E. name has come up as the new O. C. This A. D. is RIDICULOUS!!!

Even the league minimum is enough to pay for your senior year if you fail.

Oddly enough, NFL stats show OL is the least injured players' group of all!

Appears that Da Coach O's vaunted motivational skills are insufficient to keep upperclassman players in the program. IN fact, it wasn't even enough to get all the eligible players to play in the bowl game.
Hold that Tiger! (For at least a couple more semesters).
