I think LKs ego is screaming playoffs to shut the media’s and OM mouths but that isn’t my personal expectation especially with the schedule. 9-3 would be a good year IMO. Yeah Cig blah blah but he’s 1 coach and he doesn’t coach in SEC. I don’t think he would’ve done 1st year in SEC.

Dude, this portal haul is a joke. LSU won’t have as much talent as last year but thankfully we’ll be better coached.

I mean it’s the number one class in the portal currently. A lot of time for that to change, but to call it a joke is ignorant. We need more lineman, but I have confidence that will happen.

Lane will get a minimum of 3 years no matter what, unless there’s a scandal or something. Probably a minimum of 4. LSU has put all their eggs in the Lane basket.

Considering it’s the top portal haul in the country then every haul must be a joke.
This is a total rebuild, but because we spent wisely and aggressively we’re in position for playoffs with a few more pieces and full Leavitt recovery.

The new system and Year one for Lane I agree there will be a learning curve. But with the portal your grabbing seasoned Vets and theyve played alot of football. So to think we could compete for a cfp spot isnt crazy. We do have a brutal schedule for sure but we have alot returning at keys spots. Didnt lose much on defense that cant be replaced. If Weeks can stay healthy that defense will be just fine with him leading the way.

Looking at CFB now, there really is no such thing as a rebuilding year any more. It’s basically become who made wise portal/NIL choices and who didn’t.
