We were riding to ATL and then O decided to get more involved with the defense.

I understand your logic with incoming talent, but in 2022 we will likely be replacing the whole O-line and D-line. Sting will be gone and possibly a few others on defense if they show out this season. We will be talented in 22 regardless but much less experienced in 22 vs 21.

You don't know what you have in offensive and defensive schemes or coordinators. They are led by a clueless HC who was lucky enough to get Joe Burrow Nd Joe Brady at just the right times. We hope his luck returns this year.

Getting back to the playoffs would certainly make us the most bipolar program in history.

72 TDs out of 79 offensive TDs gone and 6000 out of 7041 total offense yards gone! That a huge chunk from the offense! Yes they can just reload but that won't be just an easy task!

True, but if a team can do it, it's Bama because they are loaded with 5-star talent. You know they will have awesome RBs waiting to replace Harris. Metchie is already a great WR. But they are losing the most at once that I have seen them lose including an innovative coordinator. They will still be really good next year, but if there is a year to beat them, next year is the year for teams to attempt to do it.

want to believe!!! But what I will say is they're overdue to hit a bump in the road at some point! It's just next man up for them year after year after year! They have a ton of very good players waiting their turn but they lost a ton from last years team!

We say this every year about Bama being due for a bad year.

Bama will not have a bad year in the way that 99% of teams have a bad year. A bad year for Bama is 2 losses (which has only happened three times in the last decade). Next year could be a year where they have the potential to have two losses. Then again, UF is losing its whole offense basically, Auburn is replacing a coach, aTm will be breaking in a new QB and they would only play UGA if they both go to the SEC title game. So LSU will probably go back to being their toughest game again. I could see LSU and UGA having a fair shot at them next year (only if LSU's new coordinators are decent though).

A bad year for Bama is when they don't win it all.

Returning 20 of 22 starters instead of losing 30+ players including returning only 5 of 22 starters a year ago surely puts LSU in a much better position this season.

If LSU can get by UCLA they will go 4-0 out of conference. It seems to me with the talent they have and with other schools losing alot of players, the Tigers should be favored in every other game but Bama. We all know it doesn't always play out as we expect but the bottom line is we are in a much better spot than we were a year ago.

Cox, Stephens, Marshall & Gilbert say you are incorrect on your numbers, but I get where you are coming from.

We need to be honest with ourselves, Gilbert and Marshall weren’t starters in the last few games not because they were passed by, but because they quit!!!!

Still 18 out of 22 is still a hell of a hall.
