So who thought Alabama, with a new QB and new O line, would have a more prolific offense than us this year?

But we're 3-0, so all is wonderful.

Look, I get the negativity. I really do.

But can't we all just wait till LSU loses a game before we start freaking out?

What? Are you brain-dead?

We held them to 200 yards.

They had about 640 against Western Carolina.

And Bama has the power houses of Florida International and North Texas to thank for stat padding.

This.

I agree that Bama looks legit, and LSU will have to bring their A game to win, but honestly, some people are ready to give Saban a crystal ball already.

Yeah, Vandy and USL are light years better. Hell, MSU gained more yards against Vandy than us.

Word. We'd be a lot better if we had a tall strong armed athletic quarterback, some really fast power running backs, maybe a couple speedy over 6' tall potential 1st round wide receivers or a really good tight end, along with a veteran offensive line.

Very interesting. The one stat that I discount is the kickoff returns. Washington sky kicked every time. We may have only gotten 5 yards on the returns, but our avg. starting field postion was about the 35-40 yard line. Vandy only kicked 3 times, and I don't remember them. ULL only kicked twice, and Holliday ran one of them back past the 40, while Brooks botched the other one.

Also of note is that after the first week of terrible punting, we are still about 6th in net punting. Great improvement.

no, everything. I'm measuring our offense this year solely on preventing the pick-6. I'm measuring the defense on your ability to detect sarcasm...

Addict, we couldn't break 330 yards of offense against ULL...

Remember over the summer? JJ, Shepard, Lafell, Toliver, Randle, Scoot, Keiland...how would ANYONE stop our offense!!

So much for that.
