There are countless LSU fans/alumini that live in Mississippi and the eastern most part of Louisiana. They are closer than anyone else, why can't they pick up the slack?

Bottom line: LSU needs you in Starkville more than they need you in WV.

LSU will manage without me. I'm sure there are better athletes on the team than this guy. They'll be fine whether I'm there or not.

Morgantown is a once in a lifetime trip. Starkville is every other year.

Tupelo,Ms. paper said there were 1800 unsold tickets as of last week and were returned. Phone munbers were provided to call to buy left over tickets. So, at least 1800 were returned. I called , they are available. We decided to watch on TV, even if we only live 60 miles away.

Why wouldn't you go if you are so close?

They may not technically be at the LSU ticket office as I'm sure you would now have to pick them up at will call in Starkville, but season ticket holders can still order them through LSU. I just requested two and it gave me the option for lower level A.

Another reason why I hate our fan base. The game is on Thursday. If I could afford to fly out there for the game, I would and it doesn't matter where the game is played. LSU could be playing in a dirt field against a D-III school and I would still pay to see the game.

Where did all the real fans go?

They could make it but they might not want to drive back home late at night and have to get up for work/school early in the morning. They might not want to spend the extra cash on gas etc. If I lived close enough your damn right I'd be going.

She wouldn't, but I'm not a dick so I'll stay and help out, especially since they are all sick.

honestly having 5000 fans travel on a thursday night to starkville is pretty damn good,... not many fan bases could do that. MSU fans havent even sold out the game yet, so its not just our fans that are slacking.
