Unless you know someone in the area right outside the stadium. Options for tailgating on campus is pretty limited. Luckily I have family in the area and they usually invite me to go with some of their MSU alumni friends.

The logistics kept me from even considering going. Plus, $75 a piece for student tickets is a bit much.

They're not gonna have much reason to ring the bells - might have to watch out for throwin' em.

Tigerdup07, you made me smile, and you need to move on up to 10yr old. Also the reason I said they were all sold, I did not order enough tickets and tried to order some more after the fact and the ticket office told me I could not because they didn't have any to sell!

Wrong, we tailgate there every other year.

I went once, won't go back, those cow bells are as annoying as the vuvenzulus. What a bunch of low class red necks.

I'd skip just about anything in my life to watch LSU play football. IDGAF if it's a Monday morning in Missoula, Montana

I love LSU just as much as the next person but way to much of a hassle to manage a trip to Starkville on a Thursday. If lets say it was Alabama or something along those lines I'd be more then willing to take some days off and deal with the extra drama to go to that game, but Starkville just isn't worth it.

so we really did give back that many tickets? I'm not sure why all the infatuation with the game in Morgantown. The game in Starkvegas is an SEC game and while it may not have all the trappings of Seattle, Dallas or even Morgantown ( ) it is far more important to the team than any of the games in the aforementioned venues.

#1 Dallas Last week Morgantown next week.
#2 No tailgating
#3 Its a Thursday Night.
#4 Its just a annoying place to watch a game with cowbells that serve no purpose but to call in other rednecks.
#5 Terrible Drive and to a lack luster location.
#6 Its STARKVILLE... people their look for an excuse to leave.

How often do we have the opportunity to watch LSU play in the Northeast against a top 20 team? I can go to Starkville every other year. I like to visit new areas, it's more than just football.

It's on a Thursday night. If you want to take off two days from work and spend time in Starkville, then have at it. It doesn't help that MSU hasn't beaten LSU in what feels like decades.

Bottom line: LSU needs you in Starkville more than they need you in WV.

Are you going to be there? If there were a Saturday game, it would have been a lot easier. There is no easy way getting there from Houston. Time away from work/family is very valuable and spending a Thursday night in Starkville isn't worth it. I was there the last time these two played on a Thursday night, but I was working in Mississippi at the time.

many people have this problem. It is just a huge hassle for people to travel to this game and the people saying LSU needs us to be at this game needs to understand there is stuff outside of football that is more important.
