QBs should flourish in Les Miles system and I don't understand why we don't get better prospects. The problem has been that Miles likes to recruit mobile QB who can throw vs a throwing QB who has some mobility.
I would have liked to have see the kid Lafayette here but oh well.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I'll oblige anyway. It is time for a change. That buyout is just way too stiff to justify getting rid of a coach that isn't Charlie Weis at Notre Dame bad.
When the time comes, we'll get a homerun hire. Until then, I don't see any point in getting rid of Cam and forfeiting any type of chemistry when Miles' system is what it is.

There seems to be a lot of speculation that Cam will be let go. There was also a lot if speculation that Les would be let go. Ain't nobody gone.

If that's the case hire a very good QB coach at least. Whether he calls plays or not, for the love of God, develop a qb in some way.

How about a WOW moment where Les rises above this bullshite by acknowledging his deficiencies and commits to measurable change? He can then head over to Alleva's office and squash their beef for the good of the program. Les should ask Alleva to round-up the guys that were willing to part with $11m and they can come to an agreement to invest ~$8m for the best OC & DC with 2 year guarantees for each.
Les needs to go out on a limb and pursue coaches who are a threat to his job. If they are that good, we are hiring the right coaches. We currently have the highest paid staff but none were in contention to replace Les. That was by design.

Like most, since Miles is the head coach, I'm hoping the offense is somehow improved.
The only hope of that, IMO, is a staff change. A new OC is necessary if the offense is going to do things differently in 2016.
CCC has always been a 'throw it deep down the sidelines' type of OC. It doesn't work.
LSU should get someone to run a Stanford style offense: similar commitment to the run, with more of a west-coast passing approach.
