Last years class was decimated in the draft and we missed out on multiple of our top portal players.

The 2026 team was the least talented of the Jay era, and that was compounded by injuries.

Yet Adam's preseason preview mentioned this team being more offensively talented than 2025's team.

Doesn't matter the sport, doesn't matter the year, LSU fans will always say their team is "most talented" all offseason.

certainly helps. Next years team will be leaps and bounds more talented than last years team.

Uhh, yea the only team in the Jay era that would compare or exceed this next team as far as pure talent on paper is the 2023 team.

Too much projection for that but I do like the roster we have. Jay should have a field day tinkering with the lineup.

big fan of what Adam does. He’s not a scout.

if that’s what you want to take after looking at the two rosters on paper, I’ve got nothing for you.

Every offseason after the draft....

Pretty sure several posters said this same thing at this time last year.

This freshman class is STACKED! Santarelli and several others making it to campus

You should NEVER set these kinds of expectations. You're setting yourself up for disappointment because it's an unrealistic expectation. It's hard enough to win one! So many things need to go right, at the right time. Repeating us even harder.

I was thinking more like 110 out of 112.
