All upperclassmen. Dudes are learning to be the leaders in the clubhouse. It isn’t “rinse and repeat” when you lose 10+ players to the draft.

That excuse is worn out. There's no reason for this putrid performance except poor talent evaluation and lack of player development.

First time LSU has lost 5 straight SEC series since 1977. That’s 46 years if you are counting at home

Obviously Jay’s entire history should be thrown out the window because of this year. I agree.

This is the excuse you use when you fall short in a regional.

There is no excuse for being arguably the worst team In the league.

Jay deserves every bit of the shite he’s getting. Massive coaching failure.

No one is saying fire Johnson. if you can’t recognize that he is at least partially responsible for this historically terrible team, you are in denial

Yeah…a LSU baseball team has never had to face a problem like that before

I’m aware this team isn’t great and Jay is the coach but outside of that I have nothing but facts to suggest he’ll get it right soon enough.

And plenty of dumbfricks are saying he should go so I disagree with your premise.

I agree 100%. It’s one thing to take a step down but another to be just downright garbage. Regardless of who we lost this should never happen at LSU or really any perennial baseball power. It’s inexcusable

You’re correct.

However at this point in the season these guys need to start growing up.

Arkansas just reloads. Granted they've choked in the CWS, but they seem to not have massive dropoffs like this.

The 2010 baseball team went 14-16 in conference after the 2009 championship.

Apparently, it’s hard to be good the following year.

I just can't see this team getting there. If we lose tomorrow we'd have go something like 12-3 the remainder of the season. We just don't have the pitching or hitting to go on a run like that.

They also ripped through the conference tournament and went to a regional. That's not happening with this team.
