Tonight you see guys like Tony Brown, Robinson, Williams that LSU just missed on. Those guys could have been playmakers that were needed this year.

Saban is diluting the rest of the sec by taking the elite recruits from all the rest of the sec.

The SEC is quickly on the way to the ACC in the Bowden days. One great team and a bunch of average teams who get beat by the elite team by 35 points.

The most important area we have to win is Offensive Line recruiting. Losing Cam Robinson set this program back significantly. Not just him starting for Bama his whole career and being a beast, but the psychological effect that had.

They are going to sign a better Louisiana class than we are.

Alabama targets elite players at the line of scrimmage. They also develop their talent almost entirely. LSU has gotten talent but just doesn't seem to develop them. Look at all the star LSU players in the NFL.

Bama pushes hard for guys in the trenches. Then they go to everyone else and say "don't you want to play behind this line". Here's the positive thing, we kept it close until three holds weren't called on the same play.

Isn't it inconsistent to say that LSU does not develop players, yet talk about how we have more in the NFL than anyone else?

DB is not our problem. We get the elite DB's, RB's and WR's. We are going to have a better DL class than Bama and anyone. We have the top LT recruit on campus. We are good on talent. Remembers we were 0-0 into the fourth and take away two horrible miss calls that lead to both bama scores we go into OT. Enough said

No, because those guys were under performing while in college. If they are good enough for the pros then why the late development. I also think it is understated what position the majority of those players play. I don't know the numbers but most of those guys off the top of my head are RB, WR, DB, and LB.

While you are correct, it's the edge that Alabama has in my opinion that we can't keep up with. I'm talking about the cars and the money and all of that sort of thing that Alabama seems to get away with daily basis. How does a recruit not want that? How could you have the number one recruiting class that many years in a row? The refs give u breaks. Hell, even the announcers shoot off on big plays. Until the gumps are forced to play it square in all aspects, u can forget it

This is so true. Bama is getting every top recruit that they want out of Louisiana and most any other state. There was a time when we pretty much had a fence around Louisiana. Those days are long gone. As long as Bama continues to beat us on the recruiting trail, they will continue to beat us on the gridiron.

Saban just out recruited Miles. Over the last 6 years we've had talent but just to many holes while Saban had 4-5 stars at every position.

We have the top DB recruits in the nation every year. I will trade Hulio Jones for Jamal Adams everyday.

We need to recruit the line better but LSU pulls better WRs and DBs almost every year.

It sucks but it's just what is happening right now.

Bama cherry picks who they want pretty much. A lot of kids see them winning titles and want to be a part of it.

It's tough but what are you gonna do?

Try your best and move on.

No. They are mostly getting to the NFL on talent, not development.

Wait a second...you're telling me we have to get good players and develop them to win. frick! Do you know O's direct line? He may not be aware of this. I don't think he's known for his recruiting skills either.
