Whether you believe in Ed Orgeron or moral victories, it's critical for LSU and Coach O to finish this season strong.

Whether you like him or not, Orgeron can now sell LSU as a couple playmakers away from being in the championship picture.

The remaining 3 games are all must haves for him to keep the narrative positive, the fans optimistic and recruits buying what he is selling.

For Coach O to be a long term success, I truly think the next 3 weeks are as critical as it gets.

Now the real pressure begins because the team is expected to win out.

How he fills out the 2018 recruiting class is probably the most critical thing Orgeron can do this year... And he's got some work to do.

He also needs to give Aranda a blank check and tell him to write a number.

LSU needs Aranda for another couple of years at least. Canada just got there, so he probably plans on sticking around for a couple more years anyway.

If Orgeron can keep both those guys, LSU's future looks positive.

Barring injuries to both Etling and Brennan, there is no reason LSU shouldn’t win out.

If we lose to any of those three then this season is a complete failure. Those teams are the epitome of dumpster fires right now.

While I agree, somehow Arkansas always plays us close; however, that could be a Les tenure thing. Let's show the world it was and send Bert back to the Golden Corral Buffet line.

Well hopefully LSU comes out angry and takes it out on the Hogs Saturday. Even though they played well as a whole they left a lot of plays on the field that could have made a difference. Physically LSU not only matched Bama, but they were sending their players to the trainer's table.

I think as long as there is not a let down this week LSU will finish strong. No hangover. Take care of business.

for the most part I agree. and that's because of recruiting. it may not matter much tho; we simply don't know. this team is certainly capable of winning the last 3 games and I think we are better than all 3. imo, it's important for O and the team to learn to beat the teams you are supposed to.

this week Arky is all that matters; those kids up north literally hate LSU with a passion and always play over their heads. despite their record, they will be a tough out. we will have to play like we are capable of to win.

I'm not a huge Ogeron fan. But if there is one thing he deserves credit for, it's his ability to rally the team after loses. LSU played a hard fought game against Bama last season. They followed it by going to play a 6-3 Arkansas team that had just crushed No. 10 Florida. LSU played one of their best games that night.

A few weeks later LSU lost an emotional game at home vs. Florida which ended any chance at the Sugar Bowl and (it seemed) Ogeron getting the head coaching job. On a short week they then went to A&M and hammered the Aggies.

I don't think Ogeron is a great coach. But I'll be surprised and disapointed if he doesn't have his team ready to go on Sat.

I believe it’s critical in recruiting to finish strong. 10-3 is strong and sets up this team for a run over the next 2 years. Brennan or Narcisse needs to develop and we may be a couple of playmakers away.

QB: Brennan or Narcisse
RB: Brosette, CEH, Joiner
FB: Carter
TE: Moreau and Pettigrew
LT: Sahdiq
LG: Brumfield
C: Clapp
RG: Ed Ingram
RT: Weathersby or Deculus
WR: Sullivan
WR: Dillon
WR: Davis

DL: Rashard
DL: Fehoko, Shelvin
DL: Ed Alexander, Glenn Logan
OLB: Klavon Chasison, Dre Anthony, Thornton
MLB: Devin White
MLB: Tyler Taylor, Jacob Phillips
OLB: Mike Divinity, Sci Martin
CB: Greedy
CB: Maybe Donte or Toliver. Fulton, Surtain
Nickel: Kary Vincent
S: Grant Delpit
S: Battle, Jacoby Stevens or Monroe

K: Culp

Didn't stop us from losing to a pretty shitty Florida team last year.

Nothing is guaranteed anymore.

Don't forget Giles at WR and if he gets his head on straight Dee Anderson should get significant playing time. Currently we have Curry and Proevens committed at RB. Hopefully Joiner commits.

Couldn't agree more. Not a fan of the hire, but i'll give credit where its due. This team not quitting on him is worthy of credit.

I'd imagine that's in the binder too.

"The ability to rally".

While all the while it's a smokescreen for "losing". We lose games. Lots of games.

I'm sorry. I know you're just trying to find positives. There just aren't a lot right now. We're totally irrelevant as a program now and O sold us on continuity and moving forward with no rebuild.

Right now I would put a loss to Arky or Tenn in the realm of Troy. Both of those teams are beyond terrible right now.

It's also very important to keep Corey Raymond on staff. We take "DBU" for granted but losing Raymond, Toliver and Jackson this year would put a big damper on that title. It would also make it extremely doubtful that Kelvin Joseph, Surtain, and Cook (who knows -regardless) would sign with LSU if that happened.
