That was incredible and actually made me pretty jealous. I want the pmac to be like that so badly.

I see no logical reason why the PMAC couldn't match or better that atmosphere.

Tiger Stadium and Alex Box are almost always rocking. Fans/students just need to make basketball as much of a priority. The kids deserve it.

Their fans chanted we want Jalen! Talking about 5 Star Guard Jalen Green. As a recruit that makes you feel wanted.

Some students needs to take leadership role. Pass out flyers with instructions. Have meetings. Teach others. Lead!

First thing you should notice is that the fans are truly on top of the court.

But there's nothing you can do about that until we get a new arena. On TV, it sure feels like the front row fans are closer, too.

Auburn’s arena is much smaller. Not a great comparison.

A new arena wouldn't fix our problem. Our fans aren't staying quiet because of a building. We are lacking enough fans that are truly passionate for basketball. Just a spectator sport for many. You would think constant winning now would have been helping tremendously, but that doesn't appear to be the case. It truly is sad seeing all these other school crowds going wild each game, some who aren't even winning as much as we are now.

It was amazing in the late 80s-early 90s. Give them better seats and they will come

PMAC needs to be completely gutted and redone bow to stern. We don’t need an entirely new arena, the location and exterior aesthetics are both more than fine. Inside, personally I’d prefer a more gym style setup in the same feel and setup of Assembly Hall at Indiana or even Cameron indoor stadium.

There are a lot of boys in the LSU fan base (And on here) that are insecure with their masculinity and are totally intimidated by waving a pom pom at a game. It looks great on TV and shows fan unity.

BTW, I just saw highlights of the Auburn-Kentucky game on the SECV Network. Like day and night; kind of like comparing LSU at night during a big SEC game in Tiger Stadium with a 75% empty Southwest Louisiana Junior College at Lafayette home game.

Woodward/LSUAD has to do something to improve the atmosphere in the PMAC...….

This times 100. I moved down to sit I section 204 yesterday, there was a whole row empty. I had to assume these were season tickets for someone. Could they not make the game or even give them to someone else interested in going?

Culture change take time I guess and I think you are correct - just not enough fans with a true passion inside for hoops here. Not sure how many years it would take to turn that corner.

Sure you will see a game or two here and there where you say - yeah that's it...that's what it should be. I think you will see that vs. Kentucky in a couple of weeks. But all the rest the atmosphere is way too tepid for what the team is giving IMHO.
