I don’t think he is. What about Adams makes anyone think he’s average to below average?

The reason I’m concerned over the guards (not a melt as you say)…. is because LSU cannot run the ball at practice.

This has occurred day, after, day, after day.

This has occurred report, after report after report.

LSU is not running the Bears 1985 “46” defense with their personnel.

The guards are having problems.

I don’t know what he is compared to other SEC linemen. I haven’t been grinding Tyree Adams tape. What makes him an above average SEC linemen?

Could be worse… Ohio State & Notre Dame haven’t even named a starting QB yet

Or…we have four guys competing that are all solid but haven’t distanced from each other. Just because there’s competition doesn’t mean they all suck.

For instance, LSU fans are just guessing if they think the know the starters at WR, and those dudes are all very strong.

Great idea! I’m gonna call BK and tell him that a guy who hasn’t been to one practice has the solution and that all the coaches who have spent every minute with these kids need to listen….

Are you saying a top 200 recruit doesn't have high end All-American to NFL potential?

You won’t be happy with him when he have all these false starts ! Especially on the road!

Maybe he is false starting at the LT position because he has to play in space (with no help) and he’s hurrying his set-up as he’s playing against smaller, twitchy edge rushers (-250lbs) when he’s about 335 pounds himself.

You eliminate those problems at Guard. The opponent is closer to him and he’s playing “in a phone booth” as opposed to covering unlimited space with no help.

At Guard there is no need to rush his set-up stance.

See Penning with the Saints… it’s the same thing.

the answer to your question is Bo Bordalon. If those 4 are better than
Bo and Curne, then I feel good about the Oline guards. We all know you dont know better than me, coaches and everyone else.that really follows this sort of stuff. Get a clue or stfu yo dum azz

He’s pretty damn versatile. He was our first guy off the bench at any G or T spot last season before he got hurt. If he had been healthy, he absolutely would have played before Mubenga when Dellinger went down.

If nothing else, he’s evidently smart and adaptable if he can cover that many spots as a first guy off the bench. The staff spoke very highly of him. He also played well in the bowl game.

Bo Bordelon is a tackle , not a Guard, and
Slotted currently at the 2nd team RT.
He is not even in the Guard conversation.

You call posters’ derogatory names …but you don’t even know the position of the players on the team.

So let me give you your own medicine.

You are as dumb as a Baboon.
Unfortunately, we can’t help you because You Can’t Fix Stupid !

How do you know the starting OT's are "Quality." They haven't played hardly any snaps in an actual game for LSU.

How do you know the Center is "Good." Moore hasn't taken ANY snaps at all for LSU in an actual game.

How do you know the OG's are an "Issue." Chester is indeed Hot Garbage, but Thompson hasn't taken a snap yet for the Tigers and all the backup's at Guard have very little actual game experience............ .

Cube has had trouble adjusting to the speed of the college game. You believe he should play in his first college game / make is first start on the road at a top five team? No way I can see that.

I know Kelly wants to save Curne as the back-up LT in the event Tyree Adams gets gets hurt.

No coach saves his best guard to be backup tackle. If CBK thought Curne would be better at guard than the guys we have he would be playing guard.

A couple of false starts during practice shouldn’t offset the fact that the LGs haven’t been able to create a push!

A couple of false starts is apparently a vast understatement, and whatever it has been, it will be five times that in Clemson’s Death Valley on opening night.

Your entire post is based upon…
“how do you know” this or “how do you know that” ???

Those of us who follow recruiting read coaches posts and media posts who actually see practice.

Based on those First Hand Obervations …we make remarks.

I have read posts and comments by the aforementioned individuals that both the OT are performing well in practice against LSU vaunted defensive line. . The OC has a extensive starting experience (several years) at another conference and Kelly himself commented the center position will be good.

Conversely… the guards have been garbage as they constantly allow interior pressure and LSU cannot run the ball in the interior….. particularly near the goal line.

For example, one report noted 7 straight runs to the interior netting zero yards.
Zero yards !!!!

So…. “How we know” is based on First Hand Observation Reports.
