LSU has allowed only three points in the second half against Southeastern Conference opponents. This past weekend, Ashford threw for 247 yards in the first half, but only 90 in the second.

That's great for the defense, but how about the fact that Asford threw for more yards in his inept 2nd half than LSU had all game?

It would be a really nice way to get this long tough SEC stretch started....

Defense will be the difference, IMO.

Go Tigs!

Read closer, "against SEC opponents" you also said Auburn twice in your post. Overall LSU is ranked 3rd in the nation in the second half. Proofread before you post...

Interest goes as far as this weekend unless it’s Vitello and boys bending LSU over again.

Tell us more about your college baseball titles. Surely you must have a lot.

After watching them against Pitt and UF, their defense definitely has holes on the ground and through the air which can be exploited by the right gameplan and execution. If Denbrock is even close to being worth his salt, we should be able to keep it competitive and have a chance to win.

Offense struggles like they did last week, we’ll know there’s a problem with the coaching.

LSU wins, simple as that. Hillbilly losing streak begins, wheels off.

UT has had more recent success than LSU. All those titles you claim don’t help you now or this up coming season when Vitello rolls knot town looking to extend his winning streak on the corn dogs to 7, 8 and 9 consecutive wins.

We are now defining “recent success” as being 4-0 with power 5 wins over bad Florida and Pitt teams? Got it.

SEC Champ Champs will be at the Box soon enough so you can see 1st hand. Vitello has won what now, 6 consecutive or 7 now?

I think LSU wins the TO battle 3-1 and gets points on each takeaway.

If LSU can hold them to mostly field goals when UT gets in the red zone, that’ll be big for LSU.

LSU 31-23
