Amen.

We need to stop acting like entitled Alabama fans. It is ugly and undignified.

How long are we gonna blame Orgeron? This is year 3 with 85 players specifically chosen by Kelly. He's 7-4 with them. Ed Orgeron isn't walking through that door!
Talk about unrealistic. Blaming Orgeron for Kelly's failures 3 years later with his personally chosen players. He brought Major Burns and Jardin Gilbert. He, knowing we needed CBs, brought in multiple kids that never see the field to fill that need. He hired Matt House, a hs coach to coach the secondary, Brad Davis, a qb coach that isn't a good oc and fired then rehired Corey Raymond who's secondary isn't any better than said HS coach's. Yeah it's Orgerons fault.

Orgeron destroyed the program.

Kelly hasn't rebuilt it (at least yet).

Only a moron doesn't realize the damage Orgeron left to the program though.

He handed Kelly a worse roster than Dinardo handed Saban in 2000... so he deserves the blame.

nil just got figured out this year with Austin Thomas, it should get better in the portal going forward. i think we are a one or two loss team with just two safetys and a cb in the portal.

So a coach gets hired late November and has to try and sign a class two weeks later. Do you really believe it’s year one recruiting

What game would you prefer as a fan? LSU vs South Alabama or LSU vs Tulane. I'd love to see the Tigers on St Charles Ave.

I think the LSU fanbase is very realistic....we absolutely realize when we are not a good football team. And that is where we have been for a while now.

He's not getting fired. He was always going to get 5 years minimum. There's not a single Power 5 school worried about seeing LSU on a schedule. If he's churning out this same middle of the road team in year 5, then there shouldn't be any apologists left defending him.

But how does he turn it around? Unfortunately the only answer is to hire his way out, which is a dangerous strategy. And an expensive one.

BK has no redeeming attribute. He doesn't have the expertise on one side of the ball or the other. His management/process minded philosophy that has never actually won anything only goes so far. He can't get it done, so he'll have to hope someone else can for him. Baker was a great start on the defnesive side. He better do something on the offensive side.

We don’t run the ball enough.
The Pre-Season "Top 5" OL in the Country (Not even close without Dellinger) can't run block because the OL Coach can't effectively coach run blocking.

How can an OL with Will Campbell, Garrett Dellinger and Emery Jones in it, NOT be able to run block?

Not having a legitimate Center on the roster doesn't help either. (Dellinger should have been moved there)

It's coaching and recruiting stupid!

BK needs to seriously bring in an experienced OL Guru and recruit the Portal to fix the OL mess.............

I was optimistic with Kelly until this year..the team has digressed throughout the season and the coaching staff is to blame. It’s his third year of being the HC and the team continues to look undisciplined and unmotivated. There would be a difference if the players were going out and fighting to win while being disciplined at the same time. That is a sign of good coaching.

this is what, a 6 year rebuild?

Only a moron would skip right past Kelly's best year was with the majority of Orgeron's players and his recruits that he kept up with even after knowing he was gone from the program.

The only player now in year 3 that's better is Mason Taylor. All other young players are worse than they were as freshmen.

I can't agree O left the program in a bad way, I can also see Kelly isn't the answer and never was.

You know what’s tired ? Watching a team that is SUPPOSED to be ready to WIN GAMES. But it seems that team is NOT ready to win. WHOSE fault is that ? HEAD COACH is SUPPOSED to have them READY TO WIN. YET, 3 YEARS IN A ROW, the 10 million dollar coach LOST ALL 3 opening games. AND THEN, the REAL turning point for me is when one of the best defensive players said the half of the team ran one defense and the other half ran a completely DIFFERENT play. WHOSE FAULT WAS THAT ?? You can blame the defensive coordinator, but WHOSE fault was it really ?? This was near the end of the season. NOT opening day. Everything falls ON THE HEAD COACH. HES GETTING PAID 10 MILLION DOLLARS TO COACH. NOT PAID TO GO PLAY GOLF. This team was seldom prepared to play from the whistle. Offensive line can’t block-defensive team can’t tackle. WHOSE FAULT WAS THAT ????

The roster was completely decimated. Fans didn’t feel the amount of pain after the Orgeron years we should have. Kelly did a good job.

If it happens, it will probably be 5 or 6 years. No guarantee Kelly gets it done.

You seem to be taking it personal.

Orgeron won a national championship. I think he put together by far LSUs most talented roster ever. When he crashed and burned, it’s true that there was still talent left, but there were gaps and depth was very low.

You hate Kelly. That’s fine. But he will be your coach for the next 3 years at minimum.

Winning at LSU should be easy on a relative basis since LSU brings a lot to the table in the following areas

Awesome recruiting potential being only major program in a fertile recruiting state.
Top notch training facility
Top notch stadium
National television exposure
Strong fan support
Good financial backing for NIL and coach pay
Established athletic director

So we should expect and aweful lot.
