That data was then aggregated with county level data from a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute joint program, called County Health Rankings & Roadmaps. These are the results...
Guess we will have to find out after doing some of our own investigations

I am a Packer Stockholder and went to the meeting in 2009. The cool thing about a game at Lambeau is that there is a restaurant and bar open inside the stadium. It is open year round. Brett Favre's Steakhouse is a must. Back in'09, you could get an appetizer, prime rib and dessert for $38

The frat scent at Florida? Aren't they like us where it doesn't dominate the gameday environment like an Auburn, Ole miss or Alabama?
I feel like Auburn is the most similar to our set up, just replace Baptist with catholic and you have less drinking.
In Gainesville they pretty much push you to designated areas to tailgate and drink. First time I went we were told to pack our shite and move a few diff times.

I'm actually from Virginia but I've never been to a VT game and all my friends try to tell me how great it is. Can you tell me about your experience going there for an LSU game?

After Wisconsin played at ASU in 2013 (not good times) there was an article in the local paper about some of the campus bars having record sales that day. One bar, Loco Patron, ran out of all domestics, Corona and Dos Equis. The manager told me they were unprepared for how much Wisconsin fans could drink and this comes from a bar located near what is considered one of the nation's premier party schools. Wisconsin fans have a motto "we may lose the game but we will always win the party".

Stole that from Ole Miss apparently.

West fricking Virginia rivalried our drinking

If you are heading up to Wisconsin with an idea that you are going to outdrink the locals, then you are in for a world of disappointment. In fact, you would be well served to begin a nightly ritual of getting blind drunk between now and September in order to even be competitive.
I was in Minneapolis a few years ago for work and was amazed by how much hard liquor the locals there consumed on a nightly basis. When I called them on it, they laughed and stated that they don't hold a candle to the average Wisconsin native's habitual consumption habit. I smiled thinking that it must be some local inside joke, but when work took me to Asheville, Wisc. I was amazed that people could drink so much on a nightly basis and still be functioning members of society. It was not until Super Bowl Sunday that year when Green Bay was a participant in the Super Bowl that I attended a local bar to watch the game and was treated to a drinking Bacchanalia that I would not have believed had I not seen it with my own eyes. Those frickers were downing shots nonstop throughout the game and only drank beer when it served as a medium into which to drop shot glasses of booze. They more than earned my respect that day, and while I grew up in South Louisiana and have travelled extensively all over the world, often in the company of some truly hopeless alcoholics, I have never seen the likes before or since in terms of both quantity and consistency of the average Wisconsin social imbiber.

What else is there to do there, besides bowling, especially in Winter?
Play basketball. Ski. Toboggan. Ice racing. (Race a car on a frozen lake.) Ice fishing.
Of course, drinking can be part of that sport as well.

Louis Black likes drinking in Wisconsin
I was going to post that.
I have a nephew that lives in Madison. I've visited him twice. I'll just say this...I have full confidence in LSU fans and their ability to hang with anyone. That said, if you step in the batter's box against Badger fan...you're gonna face major league pitching.
I'm aware that the players love playing in an NFL stadium and it's a great recruiting tool...but this should have been an on campus home and home. Talk about 2 legendary game days...Scott Van Pelt would have lost his mind.

It's a damn shame this isn't a true home and home. A damn shame. I have been around the SEC and LSU fans are like us in a lot of ways.
SVP loved Madison as the greatest college town after the UW OSU game in 2010 and then went to LSU for the Bama game in 2012 and said he had never seen anything greater in sports. High praise for both places from a good guy. These are both places where the pageantry of cfb is laced with an alcoholic and profane edge to it.
Another drinking note: There is some pushback in Wisconsin about banning drinking at public shooting ranges.
At Wisconsin, the party is more important than the game usually. The Packers have a far bigger fanbase (120,000 waiting list season tix) - but Wisconsin can get it up pretty good too for college sports. I've witnessed roughly 70k UW fans at the Rose Bowl 2 times.

I've got 2 Wisconsin grads in my group now. Both under 25 and neither can drink for shite but claim to be big party guys. I think they can burn shite better than they can drink.

Never take just one Baptist with you fishing. He'll drink all the beer. Take two and you'll have it all to yourself.
