1. We have better players and way more talent. Don’t believe me? Check the 247 team composite

2. We now have better coaches across the board. CBK will have the team ready

3. Their QB is hurt, while ours is playing lights out. Our defense will shut them down.

Things that don’t matter:

1. Weather. This is the first time Arkansas AND LSU players will be playing in the cold so it’s completely irrelevant. This isn’t like us traveling to Wisconsin or something.

2. “Arkansas Super Bowl”. We are playing for an SEC title while they are barely going to be bowl eligible. Our players will be ready

3. “They always play us close” This is a lie and propaganda being spread. We have blown them out a few times this century

Disagree

This game will be close for 3 quarters. LSU pulls away late to win by 10-14.

I think this is Boutte's breakout game this year. He should abuse that secondary.

I think LSU wins but I am not sure LSU doesn’t have a hangover from the Bama game.

My view is much simpler. If we can't beat Arkansas, we have absolutely no shot at beating UGA in the SECCG.

We're playing at our best football right now and if it's not good enough to pull out a win in Arkansas, whose QB is hurt, there's no way we can possibly think we can outplay UGA or have any business being placed in the CFP.

Our defense is built more towards stopping the run. Our secondary is a hodge-podge collection of players and aren't nearly as good as what we're used to fielding. Our coverage is not that good but is negated due to our ability to pressure the QB.

Yes, Arky runs the ball well....so did Ole Miss. As long as the team is FOCUSED on not missing tackles, the Arky game won't be nearly as it's being made out to be.

This board just relentlessly throws out cliche after cliche… it’s nauseating

Y’all keep trying to use the past to predict the future, but it just doesn’t make any sense. What LSU teams have done in the past vs Arkansas is freakin irrelevant. How many guys on this roster have played arky before? How many times has CBK coached against Arkansas?

Y’all act like something that happened 4-15 years ago means that it’s gonna happen to this team. It just doesn’t make sense to me

It surely is not. In the last decade we have blown them out 3 times. They've blown us out twice.

We are 7-3 against them since 2012. Aside from the blowouts on either side, half of the games have been decided by a touchdown or less.

It is certainly not propaganda that this game has been close. Always may be a stretch, but more often than not, when we are ranked highly, Arkansas either plays us to the teeth or beats us straight up.

the pig shits have always been a trap game for us

they pulled off two miracles

miracle on marham 1 and 2- 2002 and 2008 plus the upset in 2007

we just have to make sure no bama hangover and that we do not shite the bed. good news is miles is gone and MACHINE GUN KELLY IS HERE.

I expect a win but it could be ugly and wild.

sure. we routed them in 2003 and 2004. but we lost many times also and never showed up a few times also. never discount them. that is ignorant if you do.

the emotional letdown from the Bama game is a real thing. And we have to go on the road.

This game will be close.

The high Saturday is 43 following a morning low of 25. The wind will be gusting to 2o-25 mph. Arkansas’ game is running especially if Hornsby is the QB so the weather shouldn’t affect them as much. LSU’s game is more balanced and the passing game helps the running game, My concern is can LSU’s passing game be effective in the cold and the wind.

I would have zero concerns if the weather was warm. But the cold and wind will have an affect.

I tend to agree.

It can go two ways:
1. Either you have a Bama "hangover"
2. Or you are completely energized and excited to get out there and move towards playing for a championship.

We just came off of a bye and played ONE game.

We will be ready. Playing early is better for the road team. They are one-dimensional on offense and we have had 5 games to perfect a spy to keep QB runs under control.

LSU 38-17

This is what I think, and I had to stop betting because I was so bad at it, so there's that.

I would love to see it but I don’t think JDs down field passing is there yet.

Close first quarter. Ark comes out hot and ready to brawl at home in the sunshine.

LSU scores and goes up in the Q2. The arse whipping starts in the 2nd half. LSU by 20+

We are just too much for them.

Actually agree with this. It has been like 78 degrees the past 3 weeks here. It is only gonna get below 30 tonight for the first time.
