Usually don't like running ourselves out of an inning, but what the hell, worth a try. At least Bailey starts over and leads off the next inning.

That one just dropped in the right place but whew. Bailey should have been paying more attention re the runner going to second.

Doyle and Springfield are not thinking at the plate. First pitch take and its a strike or swing and take the second pitch which is a strike. Then swing at balls out of the zone. To be a hitter of course you have to be able to make contact.
