It's just a shame that the LSU team that was playing between games 20 and 30 wasn't here this weekend.
They lost to Kentucky twice in that stretch. They made it to the national semifinals and lost to the teams that will play for the title.

But individually no one played as well as they played during that opening stretch.
Not non-conference games against La Tech anymore. Nobody will keep that up into the postseason.

Need to recruit a SS and move Bell to the OF. Too many mistakes.

Peliclown is not very bright. Congrats ladies on an outstanding year.

It did. The ball bounced in fair territory. Rewind, guys
I know it did. I said the ball was fair

1. The god awful officiating. I'd probably laugh if any of the umps got a heatstroke 2. Bell and Jaquish vanishing in the postseason 3. The mental errors. That little run down in the last inning was comical and really brought me back to earth about what I was watching. 4. Torina's lack of any kind of argument about the umpires
1 It was pathetic. The girl on second was horrible also. She was behind the plate when LSU won their Super-Regional and she sucked there too. It was a screwing today, on purpose I believe. But yes, they suck.
2. Bell just isn't very smart. Countless mistakes of not knowing what to do with the ball.
3. Bell
4. Agreed...we were taking a screwing....at least argue.
5. You forgot all that pizza shite, and horse heads. This is what I would expect to see from a 10 year old rec ball league team...not a CWS team. No way you can take that seriously, and I'm a softball fan since my daughter plays.

That's what is amazing to me. And to think, they were playing Michigan, Alabama, and Auburn the first 30 games of the season.
The only thing I hated about this season, is that they did so well, they picked up a bunch of idiot fans or just got a bunch of idiots interested in their games.

The crappy officiating was beyond our control, but the errors were the back breaker. I knew that we had to play a clean game to have a chance to win, and unfortunately we melted down at the worst possible time. I am proud as hell of the ladies and the season they had, but the sad reality is that we had this game under control and let it slip away from us.

I believe from the begining there was not going to be an all SEC final.

Bailey Landry might disagree

I didn't say they had to stay undefeated but if Bell & Jaquish power bats didn't go cold this team would be in the Finals.
Clearly the reason why this team lost.

Simmons was a bright spot late in the season.

We got to the final four with Andrews, Bell, and Jaquish all slumping. We had two freshman all american pitchers. The sky is the limit next year.

Because I said they choked!? Go frick yourself
Tigers got the short end of the umpiring all game. Two missed checked swing third strikes, same swing called third strike on Tigers.
Bell safe at second in 7th.
Michigan got two dink hits that landed just out of reach in winning rally. The home ump called the big double fair. Should have been the third base ump's call as to whether it crossed the bag before landing foul. This team ended third in the country with freshman lead pitching and sophs as next level pitchers.
That's why you are a piece of shite fan.

IT really was disappointing, but there are some real bright spots on this team. I know she was waiting for Bell, but her mistakes have been compounded with her poor decisions at the plate. Jacquish (sic) was hot/cold and I don't know how she gets that obstruction call. It looks like Torina can recruit well and we will be back, but as some on here said she needs to get on the umps. I think baseball/softball has soo much down time that same rally stuff is fine and warranted, but it does seem to become oneupmanship at this point. It really looks like we can improve and I believe Beth will do next year, but some of this years stars may have to take a back seat. With as fast as the game is with the short distances, etc. I don't know how, but she needs to get them more aggressive. Michigan was impressive with their defense, I haven't seen a team yet that played as well as they do on defense.

This team will be back. No doubt. They're paying their dues, gaining valuable WCWS experience, and growing. We lost to 2 teams who have won WCWS. Fla is the defending champs. It's much like Skips early teams. We had to get to Omaha and learn the ropes before the program finally broke through. Dang, Ben Mcdonald is LSUs best all time pitcher and all he has to show for it is a grand slam given up in the 9th to Stanford in 1989. No rings. Beth is building a solid program- little by little the pieces are being put in place. All this "they choked", "they folded", "they slumped" talk is bogus. They grew. They learned. They took a step closer. It's what you do as you build a championship program. It's been a fun season that culminated in a final 4 appearance. The future is bright.

Yes, it really gets old and tedious. Team gets to the championship level or very close and some claim they choke? Pathetic fans. Maybe those guys or gals in the other shirts are pretty good also. Tigers were victimized by several poor calls today. Maybe it evens up next year or maybe the experience and new recruits will get them over the top. Just drop all the choke garbage and lets support these teams.
