Do you think Mulkey will schedule more marquee non conference games going forward?

Sec is strong enough
She’s not gonna beat her team up if she doesn’t have to

No reason to

Just make the tournament as a high enough seed to host first 2 rounds at home

All that matters

She will. She has said many times it depends on what type of team she has going into the season.

Things seem to work out ok for us this year without the marquee nonconference schedule.

It would be interesting if Kim were to schedule Iowa this year even at a neutral site. I bet it would be on national TV.

We’re playing in the Cayman Islands tournament with UConn, VA Tech and UCLA. We should get one game against one of those teams. And we’ll get a high profile game as part of the SEC-ACC challenge. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s Notre Dame.

I don't think it helped Tennessee.

We'll get a few. I don't expect it to be loaded, but there will be games to get people into the PMAC.

Yes she will. THis year she knows that she has a talented team so losing a couple games early won't keep them from hosting first round games. It will instead prepare them better for tough SEC, Elite 8, & Final Four competition. Look for some good away games to toughen them up.

Love to see a home and home with UConn and a team that’s consistent. Have them opposite years so you’re playing one at home every year.

We're likely going to play UConn at the basketball invitational. I don't see how they could invite those two teams and not have them play each other. One thing is for damn sure. I have never cared about a women's basketball schedule. Never. I can't wait to see this schedule. Anyone know about when it will get released?

Last year it was early September once the SEC released the conference schedule. Non-conference games will trickle out before then though.

Gotta get my tix and hit the NIL store for jerseys for my daughters soon. Can't wait for those LSU Van Lith jerseys to drop.

And THIS, is why you go out and get a Kim Mulkey and pay her $2.5 million a year. Back in April 2021 a bunch of guys on this page didn't want to hear that though.

Not this year but years to come or 2 teams that have a 2 year window to win a title. I’m not for neutral site games. To me we need big home games with big crowds and to play on the road in hostile environments.
