Might be like LSU v Kentucky in 1986. LSU lost both regular season games and one in the SEC tournament. LSU won the most important one though to go to the Final Four. Ron Abernathy and a UK coach got into it in the handshake line

I doubt that matters. Women's basketball is extremely top heavy with very little talent to go around. The 16 seeds are awful.

SC will be matched up against a bottom seed team team so Cardo not playing won’t hurt them anyway.

We all knew LSU likely wasn't gonna win this with half our team crippled with no bench but they played it way closer than anyone thought.

i remember
and we shoulda won that home game john williams was out with chicken pox and roger harden hit a last second 35 foot jumpoer to win it. derrick taylor was great that game
but yeah it was nice beating kenny walkers arse in atlanta in elite 8
