Watford needs less touches handling the ball.

Somehow he’s been pegged with having great ball handling skills which for a 6’9 guy is true but compared to average guards it’s not that great. Way to many turnovers and when he does get in good position by the goal he can’t finish. He’s definitely a player who shouldn’t go to the nba this year.

Watford lacks focus trying to handle the ball far out too much. He can hit some nice 3s out there for a big man, but LSU needs him inside much more. He is much better when he only has to make a quick move to get a shot up and more helpful banging bodies down low for easier buckets and rebounding.

Did he set a record tonight for turnovers in a game not by a PG?

He looked horrible tonight. No excuses to miss 6 straight free throws, have numerous turnovers, stupid fouls and lackadaisical play throughout the whole game. He thinks he is all world but he will be lucky to get drafted imho. He's too slow and has a weak vertical.

He had one GREAT sequence taking the ball coast to coast and laying it in with a defender riding him the entire way.

I would like to say he could handle it in the SEC and that UGA is just a well coached defensive team and we won’t run into that as much in conference. But the SEC is actually pretty loaded with good coaches, for a change.

On a team that we desperately need low post scoring and defense, our biggest guy is playing point forward. Put his butt on the blocks. He has a pretty good "back to the basket game' and can be an effective rebounder on both ends . We need THAT...not another ball handler. Thomas has been terrific at slashing/scoring/getting to the line along with the 3's and that's what won the game tonight. We should have that going on all game...not just behind 10 in the last 6 mins.

Yep just left gym. He was moping all night. Not listening to coaches in the huddle horrible body language on court. He’s as far from being an NBA player than he’s ever been .

Is he hurt? Leg injury a couple of games ago seems nagging.

He had 3 charges that are turnovers (2 were very bullshite), a couple of lazy passes from Smart that resulted in equally lazy effort catching by Watford. He had his worst game, he’s shown in several others he’s exceptional as a Point Forward

He doesn’t need to dribble drive from outside the arc. Post him up and keep Cam as an outlet or driving if doubled.

He needs coaching!!! Know your limitations.

Know what you are good at and what you are not good at.

Do the first and work on the second.

He may be 6’9”, but he plays
6’1”. When he drives to the basket he never elevates to finish and gets shots blocked and altered. Frustrating to watch that.

The way he was shooting free throws, he was a detriment to the team being on the floor in the OT,
