Isn't it great to watch these guys grow up before our eyes?

Almost brings a tear to my eye.

Good to know we aren't leaving the cupboard bare going into next season.

We couldn’t have asked for three better guys to start that last inning against 74 mph floaters than those three.

If the 6-7-8-9 slots of our lineup continue to be real offensive threats (and you gotta like what you're seeing right now) sky is the limit with this team THIS YEAR.

Watching the professional development of these young kids is a great reason to watch college sports even when the team appears to be under-achieving.

Yet all season long people have bitched about the lack of development.

I'd love LSU baseball more if it had smarter fans.

Its mostly because the sophomore class outside of Bear Jones hasn't lived up to their hype and don't seem to have progressed much from last season.

I probably said this about Kling last year so I hope I don't jinx it, but Jake Brown looks like he could be a power hitting, high first round pick in two years. And I thought he was coming here to pitch.

I think Jay Johnson is an incredible developer of players. Sometimes it seems he sacrifices earlier games for big moments and experiences. These young guys are going to be great!

I think Brown is athletic enough to stick in CF. Just needs experience. Maybe a summer of playing CF can get him there. An OF of Pearson-Brown-Larson would be a good start to 2025. Need 1B, 3B, and a lot of starting pitching.

Why would Jones leave? He needs another year. Still needs to develop more as a hitter and first baseman.

Maybe he is tired of school. Or maybe he’s ready to make money. Who knows?

No inside info, just most leave when they are draft eligible as they don't want to start their pro careers at 22 and turn 23 during the their first full season of pro ball. He may very well return; he will just be in the minority of draft eligible players that do so. All this is assuming someone wants to draft him in the Top 10 rounds. If not, he will definitely be back.

Yet the Frosh have come on strong, Herron is playing well.

Strange. You would think moderately people could see beyond a couple of players.
