re: Palace winning the FA Cup is a win for football

Have followed Palace since they were on the first NBCSports EPL game against Tottenham in 2013. Decided if they could stay up I would be all in. Huge day for the club.

You did not have to sit out a year as a baseball transfer as recently as 2001. Not sure when the rule for baseball changed.

What if shoe companies gotten into the travel soccer world similar to the way they are involved in AAU basketball? Not sure the payoff is there in soccer that there is in basketball if they sign the next superstar, but seems to be how kids who come from poorer families get to play AAU. So would that be a way to allow kids from similar financial situations to play travel soccer and potentially increase the talent pool?

No a walk on who plays in any sport does not count against the scholarship limit. That guy has no idea what he is talking about.

Not sure if the rules have changed, but players who were not enrolled in summer school could still work out with the team several years ago. They were not on scholarship and had to pay for their own housing etc.

In your opinion is cash back the better option versus some sort of reward points?

Yes, when I got my score last month buying a vehicle it was 790 something so doubt I would have an issue with credit.
First Credit Card Suggestions
Posted by PortCityMadMan on 5/21/17 at 9:53 am
Looking to get first credit card. Have always used a debit card and would like to find a card that has some sort of reward system. I know there are a couple threads saved on the topic but rather long or out dated. Looked at some AMEX and Capital One options, but not sure how to decide which would be best.
Wife and I do not travel much so not sure something directly tied to airline miles would make sense. My intent would be to use it in place of my debit card and pay it off every month. If there are details I can provide to help someone suggest something that is best for me I am happy to do that.
