Almost forgot about this couple near the end of the game. Lulu and Junior. These were classic times on the Rant.

They are Vol icons, and forever will be.
Best memory of that game was Travis Daniels burning his freshman redshirt to help his team win at the end.

I swear to god I thought this was an SNL skit the first time I saw the pic. Hell I'm pretty sure I thought it was an SNL skit for about 5 years.

I call my two of my grandkids those names whenever they have a puzzled or disgusted look on their faces.
Of course at ages 12 and 9 they have no idea what I'm talking about.

wow. i remember. that was our coming out party. our :SHOCK THE WORLD" game. Ro and toe went down. The beasts matt mauck and Double D step in and i was in corner EZ right next to band where mauck scored his TD's. stood whole game. energy running through our bodies as band played all game. most exciting SECCG ever for us and i have been to every one
The orange roses laying on ground after was priceless or the pic of stephen peterman holding a rose in his mouth with rob sale nearby.
i saw old men gray tiger's age 75 to 80ish so mad after that game they were assaulting tiger fans. what a sorry arse bunch.

Thanks for helping me relive that wonderful memory. Those were the early heady days of LSUs rebirth.
I cannot recall which was the dominant LSU site at that time, but I think it was Tiger lair. They made the God awful choice to become a pay site, and I never logged on there again.
