These two are pretty much going to be independents going forward and will be wanting to beef up their schedules.

Hypothetically would yall be opposed to home and homes or maybe even 2 for 1’s with these two programs? Not super familiar with their schools but I’d imagine a ton of LSU fans would travel to see games at these schools.

I know it doesn’t move the SOS needle but we honestly don’t need to worry about that anymore. I’d much rather play Washington State or Oregon State instead of Nicholls or South Alabama.

it would move the needle if we played OSU, they are usually ranked and this year i think they're top 5.

Top 5 in what? I’ve never seen Oregon State in the top 5

Doesn’t look like a completely awful spot to take in a ball game. I’m sure the region has some cool stuff to check out as well. Just something different.

And they just lost their coach to Michigan St in one of the weirdest coaching moves I’ve ever seen

Not super weird. Michigan State is a better job. It’s in the Big10 and Oregon State is now a defacto independent program. Hard to thrive when you’re not in a conference loaded with money unless you’re name is Notre Dame

Maybe add one for 2028, but who knows what CFB will look like by then. Other than that LSU is booked up until 2033. No need to add anyone other than small state schools.

Clemson 25/26
Houston 27
Arizona St 29/30
Utah 31/32

They are going to join a conference eventually. You can't survive as an independent these days if your name isn't ND.

They just got some settlement from the Pac12. That’s what made me think of them.

Pac12 distribution bump

Pullman isn’t a convenient location for PAC-12 fans. Traveling from Baton Rouge would be a tough task.

A 35 hour drive, or multiple flights and layovers. You could probably get to Europe quicker than Pullman because of all the layovers.

Yeah, I'm not certain that Jonathan Smith would have left Oregon State if the Pac 12 was still together. He played quarterback there and had done a really good job in Corvallis. It's just impossible to build and maintain a program without being in a Power Five conference.

Doubtful these games are played. Within the next 6 months Clemson will be in the SEC and they will end up in the SEC

Dude you know how hard it is to get to Pullman Washington? There is no airport you have to fly into Moscow, Idaho.
Now you want to discuss how hard it is to get to Moscow, Idaho? Pullman is like Starkvegas on Mars.

Corvallis is an amazing college town and Reser is a very nice stadium. It would be a classic lsu takeover and worth the trip. Spend a few days hiking around the Willamette Valley

I doubt Clemson ever gets an SEC invite.

Corvallis is mediocre at best…trust me! Very few restaurants, none of the caliber in New Orleans, BR, or Lafayette. Mega liberal politics. Land of low expectations, economy is not vibrant and growing, and they have watered down Pinot Noir for the most part. Rains 90+” per year. Depressing really.
