If you can at all you try to save Fontenot until the 8th.

I think Beck or Hilliard. Fontenot will probably be filling the closer role.

Beck or CG for Walker. Other option is if Walker starts struggling abruptly we might go George then Beck.

Zack Hess probably not available tomorrow, Mainieri said. Todd Peterson might be.

Sounds like Devin Fontenot in line to close tomorrow

I guess that I was hoping that Walker can go six and Fontenot could pitch the last three.

Peterson. He had only 15 pitches tonight.

Walker throws, and hopefully throws well. From there you play it based off of how the game is going. If Walker gives you 6 and the game is close, you go to Beck and then hope he gets it to Fontenot to win. If you need Hilliard at some point to win, you try to win it though. Worst case is we have to throw Beck, Fontenot and Hilliard and still don't win. Then Monday is just a Johnny whole staff from both teams, trying to win.

Peterson threw 33 pitches. We have to go with beck and Fontenot before pitching Peterson again.

It depends on the situation.

You can't go to Beck or Fontenot if you are down more than 1-2 runs...and you might not go to them without a lead.

My guess:

Hilliard in long relief
Beck in the 6th or later with a lead

It depends on the situation. If we have the lead, or we’re tied, and Walker goes six, you go Beck for as long as you can, then follow with Fontenot. If we’re trailing you leave Fontenot on the bench, so on Monday you can go Fontenot, Vietmieir, Peterson, Hess and Marceaux if you absolutely need him.

ETA: I left out Hilliard.

Hilliard, unless we burned him out with a 15-run lead Friday.

Doubtful he's "burned" since he only threw 16 pitches.....about like a bullpen session the day before a start.

I'm not sure that Hilliard is the right guy to bring in after Walker, because Walker isn't a hard-throwing guy and neither is Hilliard. I think what you want after Walker is someone to throw over 90. I think you save Hilliard for a potential Game 4.
