I'm so impressed with what I've seen and heard about him, he just might be the next Joe Burrow.

But then Nuss might be the present for the next two or three years and then Howard might be the future after that

if Nuss doesn't win the job this year he won't start at LSU unless injury occurs. Howard is going to be full go next year. I don't think some people realize just how talented thos kid is. Everybody that watches him at practice sees it. Strong arm, quick release, and a legit 4.6 range 40 yard dash. Great footwork and accurate too.

All the people downvoting Walker’s potential have no clue as to who this kid is. HS coaches said his football IQ reminded them EXACTLY of Joe Burrow (how he thinks, makes decisions, and makes reads/progressions). He also knows EVERY players position and where they should be at all times…both on offense and defense. He thought this way in HIGH SCHOOL.

So then there’s no excuse for BK or denbrock to FCUK up his development right? Bearing injury/act of god...?

The chances of being as good as Burrow with that caliber of receivers combined with coaching is unlikely.

We have much better coaching. We had great receivers in 2019, but we've had that before and we'll have it again, maybe even this year. Boutte is right there with Jefferson and Chase. And both Bech and Nabors are at least as good as Marshall. BJT is damn good, too.

Nope. Zero excuse to not develop a QB, especially when it’s your job to do so at a major university being paid very handsomely to do so.
