Can you list the players Joe Burrow competed against for reference? They are pretty close to the same age going into their last season of eligibility, And both Burrow and Brennan were younger going onto their final season than Natty winner Matt Maulk if I remember correctly and Matt Flynn was not far behind.

Brennan doesn’t have to say anything to Howard just shows him the Natty Ring from the GOAT team. Drops mic

The team he held the clipboard for? Look, I support EVERY Tiger when they play no matter what. But isn't it curious that he's been here since Rutherford B. Hayes was president, and has never quite SEIZED the job? Also, a fellow VETERAN power 5 QB transferred in. I refuse to believe Daniels came here without knowing there's an OVERWHELMING chance for him to play a lot at LSU.

Myles won't even win the starting job if Kayshon Boutte has anything to do with it, how will he win a natty?

Brennan should have transferred out long ago. Good luck to him but foolish. Could have went to a mid major school and probably played. Back in the 60’s kids were dedicated to a school. No longer.

You really should wait til you get out of the 8th grade before posting here.

First you write,
quote:

Brennan should have transferred out long ago.

Then you write,
quote:

Back in the 60’s kids were dedicated to a school. No longer.

So which is it? Should Brenna be loyal to his school and stick around, or be disloyal and transfer out?

And "could have went"? I'm guessing that you weren't an English scholar at your middle school.

Wow, what an incomplete and totally unfounded statement. The OC wanted to start him his freshman year and was excited about his passing ability but he was vetoed by that brilliant offensive mind Les Miles. It always amazes me that no one ever blames the coach for a player not starting because, you know the cliche, they see them in practice so they know who should start and who shouldn't. When he finally got his chance he had better stats than Joe Burrow over his first four games and then he got injured. Myles didn't lose any of those games, the friggin defense did!

And as for Daniels, Kelly got him for insurance and his ability to run the ball, pure and simple. Why wouldn't you take him if he was available and gave you depth?

Just a kid being silly. What's the big deal? Some people take things a bit serious.

If you think a power 5 QB who has 2-3 years of starting experience and could have gone to probably FIFTY D1 schools (not necessarily all power 5s) and been GUARANTEED TO START, picked LSU without being assured he was going to play, YOU are the dumb arse. These major college QBs don't transfer somewhere mid career to signal in plays, Einstein.

I DO NOT CARE who wins the QB battle, just as long as he gives LSU the best chance to win, period.

For whatever reason, (injuries, performance) Brennan HAS NOT taken the bull by the horns during his 25 years on scholarship. He also had 12 plays from the 1 yard line against Mizzou and couldn't punch it in. I prefer a QB that finds a way to win. Maybe you like to reward guys that hang around a generation or two, and show loyalty to the school. I prefer results.

Also, why do you think Kelly went out and signed another vet QB when he had just persuaded Myles to come back? Maybe the guy in charge knows Myles is lacking what we need?

Brennan never took even a single practice snap under Les Miles as he was fired in 2016 and Myles freshman year was in 2017

Well not really because Joe was obviously the better than Brennan who was a Freshman at the time. Then Brennan was injured for two years so he wasn’t really battling. Now he may battle this Fall but we will see.
