Unfortunately I'm the reason the songs at the Box suck now

One of my biggest regrets. Before the 2013 season I posted a thread saying they needed to revamp the Box soundtrack and they actually did it. Little did I know they would let a retard run the new song selections. The music at the Box has been a total joke since they changed things in 2013.

Is Brooks Rice a starter or closer?

Because a Closer coming out to Gods Gonna Cut you Down is ICE COLD.

Bill Franques used to do like 20 jobs, from PA to music selection, to sorting out the birthday requests, to doing all the promotions, etc.

Probably around 2013 is when the Promotions department took over some of those responsibilities and the hot-shot 25 year olds with their marketing degrees decided they would be the judge of what should be played. I am sure they had a focus group or something that determined "Centerfield" wasn't hitting the target demographic...or whatever marketing dweebs talk about.

The Outfield was big in 1986. It amazes me these youngsters know anything about John Spinks and The Outfield.

Was this discussed and I missed it? Or has PM commented on it? I know he never allowed it in the past.
Beloso confirmed at media day Mainieri decided to let it go last Summer.

It was better when JW, Russ and Todd Walker walked out there to nothing but the crowd and raked every fricking game.

Ghetto Cowboy by Bone Thugs would be the goat walk out song imo. I left a year before they started doing it at Byrd. Missed it by a damn year I always wanted that to be mine. You automatically will rake walking out to it lol.

I've heard of 7 of those bands but the only song I know is Seven Nation Army and I'm sick to death of hearing it. That's OK though. They aren't playing those songs for my benefit.
