I endured the FSU Slob Fest so you don’t have to. As game day approaches these guys are just getting more convinced FSU will destroy our humble collection of rag tag scrubs. Some comments:

We have Keon Coleman and they don’t .
People don’t realize who Keon Coleman is.
FSU has so many game- changers.
You might not be able to block Fisk.
Verse is a freak .
Nabors is good but not better than Coleman
LSU receivers don’t scare FSU because they deal with better in practice.
FSU will probably score 5 touchdowns .
Jordan is the best QB LSU faces all year.
47-17
57-17
Call in scores
People say FSU didn’t see Harold Perkins well they didn’t see Trey Benson.
It’s not crazy to think FSU scores by 2 or more scores.
Especially if they can force Daniels to pass
He’s good. He runs around a lot ( can’t pass).
The line with LSU being favored is strange.
If I hadn’t seen practice I’d pick LSU but I’ve seen practice .
This team is good and dominant.
You don’t know what Braden Fiske is until you see it.
Only 2 teams I would not pick us to win except Bama and Georgia .
It’s not that we think LSU is bad but our roster is full of NFL dudes.
At genital cutting time (wtf) FSU has a qb who is almost impossible to tackle.
FSU should run at will.
We are loaded we should feel confident .
This is THE year for FSU.
This is a team built to win championships now.
Brian Kelly talks up his D line but i don’t see it.
Lots of talk about how polished Destyn Hill is.
FSU handled the LSU offense last year. We have Fiske now and will be better. LSU line is good- better than Wake Forest but LSU lost their running back and we should handle them.

EDIT-Expert picks (guys who cover the team-Shea Dixon-web site writer types--not fans):

1 FSU has no weakness. FSU 34-27
2. FSU- FSU offense is unstoppable FSU 35-30
3. Daniels will turn the ball over FSU 38-21
4. FSU will pass the ball easily FSU 35-28
5. FSU offense too much FSU 38-21
6. FSU offense too strong FSU 41-24
7. FSU has had a great camp FSU 38-27
8. FSU 34-31

Average rounded up score by FSU experts:

FSU 37
LSU 26

TLDR: They beat up a patchwork LSU team by one point with a first year head coach and now they are arrogant.

So they have a fan base that believes strongly in their team, just like LSU does?

We'll find out Sunday night which fan base is correct.

The same Bama team LSU beat last year when they actually had a QB?

Nice to see they’re keeping the expectations realistic.

You would honestly think they were Georgia coming off back to back nattys.

These people are insane and I almost feel sorry for them with the reality check that’s coming.

Minority of our fans are calling for maybe a 10-14 point win. Most of us realize itll be within one score. Also, we won the SEC West last year. What did FSU win?

Edited to add. Trey Benson had 6 carries for 15 yards last year. Yeah we saw him and just didnt notice him

I have yet to see a prediction thrown out that has us winning by 40+ points.

Scores like 47 and 57 are far less likely with the new clock rule as it is.

And against LSU? That's peak delusion.

The only truth they said was that Travis will be the best qb we face all year.

I stopped listening to their shows about a week ago because that was all I heard. They are very disrespectful of LSU. They talk as if LSU is a mid-level group of 5 team. They think LSU only has one good wr, Perkins won’t be a factor.

I think it was Scarbough who said that FSU has the worst media bias/homers. We need to humiliate these boys.

I didnt pay much attention to the season FSU had after we played them. They went 10-3, good for them. Butttt it took one of the worse mental breakdown games ive ever seen for them to beat us. From that point on they beat a bunch of really bad teams and 2 of their 3 losses were against 8-5 middle of the pack teams, not world beaters. They went on a roll at the end of the season beat bad teams by a big spread. Again congrats to them. If they think they will blow us out then they will be mistaken. This is two evenly matched teams with the same talent and almost identical peices on both sides the ball. This will be a good close game that either team could win.

Same team also had a true freshman at LT and Emery Jones hadn't cracked the starting lineup yet.

More I look at the matchup, the more I wonder how FSU is going to stop LSU's offense. As long as LSU can avoid 3rd and long, LSU should be able to score a ton of points. They run a similar defense to LSU's (lot of 4-2-5), and seem to have just as much of a depth issue at NB/S/CB as LSU.

Verse is good, probably a sure-fire 1st round player; Cypress was the best CB in the portal; but what do they have after that? Fiske seems like a solid but overehyped player. The talent level from MAC to SEC/ACC is a massive step up. As long the LSU line executes their assignments, they should be able to handle his quickness at DT.

They were 4-3 through the meat of their schedule where they lost 3 in a row to Wake Forest, NC State, and Clemson. Then rallied off a 6 game winning streak against Georgia Tech (5-7), Miami (5-7), Syracuse (7-6, Syracuse was on a 3-game losing streak), ULL (6-7), Florida (6-7, coming off a loss to Vandy), and Oklahoma (6-7).

The only teams they beat who finished with a winning record: LSU, Louisville, Syracuse.

Keon Coleman had less than 800 yards on a team that went 5-7
