I hope Taz can land on his feet and find a new job as a clapper somewhere

We're going to go hire Al Pinkins from Ole Miss and get his son Patton to come along with him. Al coached on Jones' staff (just a joke....but maybe not. If Mulkey can have 13 assistant coaches, Wade can too!)

I think we’ll have to settle for 8-10 minutes of hell

We are assembling the Bagmen Avengers

I think Stansbury would be an excellent assistant. Jones too, but that one's a little trickier unless he can set asside his ego/aspirations for truly bringing his alma mater back to glory. I know one thing, we'll be playing some defense next season.

Mcmahon may have had the the most powerful 40 minutes of hell ive ever seen

You could sit in the Terrace for $1.50, (Yes, that's ONE DOLLAR & FIFTY CENTS) so me and a few of my Mandeville High School buddies went to a lot of games.
Those Terrace $1.50 seats were all General Admission and if you got there early enough, the lower Terrace was pretty good for watching the game. (We had a blast, but we're not a bunch of obnoxious alcoholic assholes)
Got to see Maravich play a lot.
The Mandeville Boys always had to stop and load up on Whoppers at a Metairie Burger King before coming back across the Causeway because back then, Mandeville didn't have a single BK or McDonalds. (It was Fast Food slim pickings, as we only had a lone Danny's Fried Chicken and that was it except for a Time Saver )

How you figure that? No kid is gonna want to play for that lying prick that throws his players under the bus, and no parents are gonna let their kids play for him either. Good luck.

Looks like NC State fans have found the Rant!

I'm not worried about Wade putting together an efficient offense, although it's not my favorite style of play, it is efficient.
The "style" is pretty simple. Don't turn the ball over, take and make a lot of FTs, and have either one of two extras between shooting it well from three or killing people on the offensive glass.
NC State had the 3rd most efficient offense in the ACC this year (behind Duke and Louisville). They were No. 1 in the conference in fewest turnovers and 2nd in FTs made per game. The bonus is they were 2nd in 3 point FG %.
Not turning the ball over and making FTs plays anywhere. If you want to know why McMahon's offenses were terrible, just look at the turnover numbers. For four years his teams were in the bottom half of the league in TOs. Often the bottom 25%.
In basketball everyone talks about offense. But it's DEFENSE that will determine how good Wade's teams are. His two highest seeded teams were 2019 (3 seed) and 2022 (6 seed). Not coincidentally, those were his only two good defensive teams.

Are we keeping David Patrick? I know Australia is the Mecca of basketball talent…

And he basically acknowledged the need for better defense in his presser, which I loved to hear.

It's super efficient, I know that. I just don't enjoy it as much. It's what works though. Get fouled and make the FTs. He spoke about this when he first started at LSU the first stint, preferable shots are either shoot a 3 or drive and get fouled.

We already know Stansbury has 57 transfers lined up through tBack channels. Probably has their mom's bank accounts (And phone numbers) ready too
