Unlikely Days and Pinson will be ready for TAMU. We will see.
Gaines is not a PG outside of change of pace. We are asking him to do something that is not in his skill set. He can’t use his explosiveness because of the minutes he is having to play. The reason why they got Pinson was to fill that position.

No way that shitty PMAC floor should've been slick or wet when X slipped. One day they'll get a new arena.

Disappointing
If it truly was a Grade 1 MCL sprain, I'll be shocked if he's not back by next week.

When Pinson went down we feared the worst. The next day they told us it was a minor injury. The truth is probably somewhere in between.

He said Miller was the planned backup PG, which is interesting. The way he was talking about Gaines it seems he views him more as a havoc 1st guard off the bench than PG of the future.

Yea, ultimately Murray was supposed to be off the bench. Murray through all this has been the surprise. Miller was supposed to be a Hybrid combo guard with Pinson mainly running point. We have our 2 PGs on the season out and we are in a position where our 3rd/4th/5th guards are playing. One of which was supposed to redshirt

The floor is not an issue at the PMAC. The leaky roof thing was in the practice facility.

The arena had nothing to do with it. Days, who is covered in sweat 30 seconds into the game, dove on the floor the previous possession which caused the floor to get wet.

We started looking like a third grade basketball team when Pinson went out. I’m sorry, but he’s not the caliber of player that it should make that much difference. We should have good enough players to step up and it not make that much of a difference. It looked bad before Days got hurt. I’m not saying win the games, but not look as clueless as we do.

We can't get those guys back soon enough. It's tough to watch without them. I thought X had a chance to come back for florida? Seems like now that injury had to have been downplayed a bit. Really hope the fans show out wednesday, will need them.

I think the plan was to have him in the Skylar Mays role. Starting SG and then move to PG when you sub the starting PG out.
