I'm on the Forbes wagon, but would be happy with Wade.

With Crean, he had more average years than good years at a full-on basketball school. Basketball is third tier here, it would be a much, much harder job.

I wouldn't bitch about Crean though, because a German Shepard would be better than Johnny Jones.

Wade has won at both his stops and done very well against his conference contemporaries. He is very young and has no ties to schools with better programs than us.

Curious how his recruiting ability is, but I think we'd definitely be ok with him at the helm.

Madking-Do you know what Billy Donovan record was when Florida hired him? It wasn't even close to the success that Wade has had. This next hire is about VISION. It's what Florida hired in Donovan.

Now the question is does Alleva have a vision? Whether it's Wade or whomever, the next hire has to be someone with a Vision on where to take the program and a method to get there.

He was at state! A team that's last sec title was in 1963 until he arrived. With Louisiana talent he could make runs. I love how much slack you'll give the loser you like but shot on ppl just because they look a certain way to you while ignoring facts. You guys are hilarious.

I was always a crean fan but I question how much fire he'd have coming straight here from IU. Probably needs a gap year.

Stand doesn't coach defense and his offense is basically Johnny's.

So basically he's johnny.

I came here for information but all I've done is waste several minutes scrolling through several pages of nonsense, most of it consisting of you insulting other members. This is ridiculous.

Donovan was hired because of slick Rick nothing to do with record. I knew about Donavan before you ever laid eyes on a basketball. That's why I'm warning yal about Wade .

This season, he has also enhanced his reputation as a strategist. The depth of his preparation is remarkable. In his back right pocket he keeps a handful of play cards, almost like an NFL offensive coordinator, with meticulous notes and in-game scenarios.

The wild ending to VCU’s 54-53 win over George Washington on Feb. 8 was not by accident. Down 53-52 with 0.4 seconds left, Wade set up a press break from under his own basket.

“Coach Wade is a whiz,” guard JeQuan Lewis said after the game, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. “He’s got plays for days.”

Johnny Jones says "plays? what?"

"I'm in contact"

Sounds a lot like what we saw posted here in 2015 bout Jimbo being all but a done deal and we all know how that worked out.

It's interesting that Alleva spoke to offensive problems, as did many here, at LSU in both 2015 and 2016, but picks a DL guy

I don't think I or anyone else can have even a clue as to how this search will pan out.

The recruits he's landed at state, A&M and now west Kentucky. Just this year he has our best player and another top 4 guy. Our best player is a 7foot 5 star recruit ranked 6th nationally and Stansbury getting him means we won't. The kid is a program changer exactly what we need. But no let's hire Wade so he can bring in transfers from the penal leagues and put us on probation right before he bolts for Memphis or some other place.

Maybe if you didnt argue like a middle schooler and insult everyone, people wouldn't be so quick to shite on you. I will admit I am nothing more than a casual LSU basketball fan, but you make me want to argue with you because of the way to respond to people.
