Yep, we’ll have a better picture once August rolls around.

Mandy, you're going to hear even more about Wade when he turns NC st into a perennial winner, and McMahon continues to have us sucking hind tit. It'll make the current Wade traffic on the board seem like a blip on the radar

Further proof you and the other Wade haters can't read the room.

Wade will be more successful, the talent is there at NC State and if you think State won’t pony up money for NIL, then you know nothing. State has tons of money and basketball is number one at state.

Wade looks like John Wooden when compared to McMahon.

Someone argued w me that Wade was gonna get “his pick of jobs”. Coaches who are in a position to get their pick of jobs don’t take the 1st one available while their current team is in the tournament.

WW will have a better season. Better recruiter, worse conference.

NCST was the second or third best job available.

Gonzaga IMO tends to get preferential seeding that helps them advance so their journey and hurdles are different and maybe lesser than the others.

Gonzaga’s 25-8, No. 8 NET, WCC champs, and they still got an 8-seed, staring down Houston in round two. They’ve earned high seeds like 2021’s No. 1 with 31-1 records and top metrics, not handouts.

I was just using them as an avatar for the example. Wasn’t specific to any of their teams.

NCST will make a decent seed in the tourney, and LSU lose all but 2-3 SEC games again. Yippee!

SEC has won 3 NC's since 2000. ACC has won 7 NC's in same time frame. competition is better in ACC. Wade made a great move!!

Curious what people think about who will have the bigger challenge next season based on the potential talent of the roster and the competition

I'd be willing to bet,Wade already has a list of players that he is bringing in.
The guy is amazing in his tracking potential recruits and his contacts with HS Coaches throughout the country.
His first Press Conference, after he takes the job, will be interesting.

4 ACC teams made the NCAA tourney

14 SEC teams did.

It’s a different level of comp.

Never thought I'd see the day where the SEC is a powerhouse in basketball and the ACC is barely getting by.

Can you imagine the melts, crowing, and Sonic fights if WW takes NC St to a Final Four soon. Or the mass suicides caused by him winning a National Championship, all while stomping LSU and other SEC teams on the way?

Storybook comeback ending with us being cast as the villains. I can only hope that the powers that be will either see the light or be ousted to save this program and change the narrative.

Wade will have them as a bubble team. I dont see us making that kind of jump.

clearly you haven’t been watching if you think the ACC is better competition.

Given the options available I think this was the best opening when he interviewed. So I would agree.
