Someone needs to ask Wade on his radio show Monday about the "scanning machine" in the pmac. I would like to know if they have an extremity mri either in the pmac or practice facility.

You can scan some stuff like ligaments etc with ultrasound. I seriously doubt it was an MRI. A less powerful machine takes a very long time to scan smaller parts like knees. Probably 30 mins minimum.

It is possible that an extremity MRI could be present. This machine is much smaller and cheaper than the traditional MRI we think of typically.

I've never heard of such a thing. Extremeties need more powerful machines, not smaller. They might have some sort of smallish machine to do brains for strokes or something but I haven't seen one.

I'm still holding my breath, as someone that tore their MCL and ACL over 2 years ago, I could walk on it but there was pain. You need a full MRI to uncover the extent.

They do not have an MRI machine in the PMAC. Clinical test really is prolly what he was referring to. And for ACL's, you can tell 90+% of the time. MRI will just follow up with the extent of the damage. Hopefully just a strain.

Yall keep saying this, but CWW specifically and clearly said scan "machines". I don't know what type of machines those are, but they're machines, not just humans. He also stated those machines are limited, which is why they are getting more tests done today.

Like others and I have said. Likely ultrasound which is basically the size of a laptop. Many doctors are certified in Muscular skeletal ultrasound.

Sit him out for Florida imo. Let that knee really heal and stop hurting for the stretch into March.

I agree. Who will handle point duties behind Gaines if that is the case? Murray?

I just keep coming back to this thread looking for MRI results. I really believe our season hangs in the balance….at least to some degree…
