Yes, you did. But where LSU is concerned, it’s mutually exclusive. Firing an elite recruiting and motivating young coach who can evolve into a better X/O coach, who has not only won at every level but turned around two schools in shocking fashion, and hiring a complete dud of a coach that has sunk the program is a massive screw up.

I was a massive Wade fan while he was here and bitched and moaned and blamed Woodward for caving like a lot of you. He brought his firing upon himself and if you don’t believe he was guilty, LSU would have had to pay for it like Miles or fat O but they didn’t. Wade was not a scape goat and sure isn’t tGOAT of LSU basketball coaches.
He is gone so I don’t give 2 shits about him or his future anywhere else. He is gone.
I’m an LSU fan first and foremost.

Yep. That's the rub with an emotional coach like tRant loves. Personally, I think a good coach can have any personality under the sun so long as they can effectively communicate with the players and recruits and get buy-in to their system.

They can tell by the hiring process he isn’t elite. Elite coaches create bidding wars & aren’t signed before the sweet 16.

They won a game against a team yesterday that for one, wasn't that good, and second, had a miserable opening half shooting the ball, scoring 13 points. Since that first half, Mcneese has been outscored by over 30 points. On top of that, their fundamentals are really really poor, terrible at free throws.
It is a different era out there in college ball now with it being above the table to buy players. I don't think Wade is a great bench coach, but the ACC has really gone downhill in basketball so they might be a top 5 ACC club.

Didn't he only win 1 NCAA Trny game on the bench at LSU? Seriously, there was never really any hope that we would make a deep run with his teams, and we didn't.
