Looks like Jay put a hurting on Vitello both during, and after the game.

Grip strength has a very high correlation with long life, even higher than flossing teeth.

Knowing Vitello he was probably just flipping the bird and Jay took exception

I might be reading this completely wrong, but I think it’s a way of him saying, we lost today and we got humbled.

I still don’t really like the guy, but he’s not as big a douche as he was 2 years ago.

He complimented Curiel and Evans quite a bit.

He’s easy to hate on because of the past, but he has mellowed a bit. He isn’t the one who acts like an arse for the entire game now. Also, he has had nothing but praise and respect for us publicly over the last two years. He had a lot of positive things to say before and after the SEC Championship Game last year.

The issue is less Vitello today and more how his players and coaches act in-game. But we all know that comes from the top, and it still reflects poorly on him, even if he has mellowed some.

I agree Vitello seems to have mellowed out a little bit over the years. He looked stoned at times in the dugout today.

He created that culture though.

I’m thinking lately, Vitello is a cool guy except when he’s actively acting like a douche. Like, he’s cool just prone to being emotional at times.
Like Italians and certain latino women.

If Vitello coached lsu the fans would think he could do no wrong

I think both coaches respect each other and know how hard you have to work to be an elite program

I absolutely agree. Until that changes, it will always diminish any respect I have for him and their program.

Sounds like an extra little dig there that he is subtly trying to bring to the table
