Just in case it hasn’t been posted or for anyone making the trip to Oxford for the first time -

AVOID DRIVING IN OXFORD IF POSSIBLE

Use UBER or other ride share. Pay the extra money / surcharges for peace of mind.

Oxford has always had numerous DUI Checkpoints for Friday / Saturday Night but I expect this weekend will be on steroids. Also, parking will be a disaster everywhere.

Absolutely true….there will be zero tolerance for drunk driving. The square is the only place to go, and it typically has adequate rideshare options.

They got me a decade plus ago for going through a yellow light after getting Taco Bell headed to the hotel. Was complete BS

Oxford PD will be specifically targeting LSU adorned vehicles.

Have a DD or uber. Even a couple and you’re getting a field sobriety.

Good luck baws

Plan on repairing your suspension if you drive. Their roads are horrible.
Also the Ghosts of Mississippi are still floating around.

Shouldn't really matter if they have DUI checkpoints or not. You shouldn't be drinking and driving.

If there are folks out there driving drunk after the game I hope they're caught.
