Van Buren should have had a planned one series in the ole miss game just to see how he does and change up things

The offensive side of the ball is just a mess from top to bottom. It’s really tough to watch. At least Berry showed some kind of life. The defense is starting to slip too.

I can only imagine y'all's reaction if Nuss was all sunshines and roses coming off the field. Any competitor worth anything would be pissed at getting pulled. Some of you just hate everything Nuss does.

He showed the downside of having a pro coach as a father. He acts like a spoiled brat when it he doesn’t get his way. It’s the first real outburst from Nuss in his career though so write it off as things were already tense from the bad game and his last season at LSU being a waste. Nuss has been a consummate pro in his career at LSU. Not many guys sit and wait their turn line did. That being said, it is do obvious that Nuss is hurt significantly and his OL is getting him killed. Sit him so he can rest and heal up for the combine and draft process. Van Buren is mire than competent to finish the year and he can move better than Nuss.

I’m not gonna bag on a kid because he doesn’t wanna come out of the game. Of course he’s pissed.

What if MVB could be successful under Sloan ? What if Nuss injury is real and he’s been hiding his progress from his own coach? I turned the game off at the start of the 4th quarter but from what I hear his series leading to a TD was great. If I’m wrong please correct me. Kelly sucks from not putting his best players on the field. No matter years of experience.

If you’re going to pull him, you don’t embarrass your team leader in front of the team and the crowd by pulling him off the field in the middle of a series.
Granted he should have been pulled (several games ago) but this just shows how inept our head coach is.

This is a good point. Kelly has completely mismanaged the QB situation this year. If Nussmeier really has been as injured as Kelly has suggested, he shouldn't have been playing, period. At a minimum, he should have sat during the softer part of the schedule. It makes absolutely zero sense how Kelly has handled this and is yet another indication that he is completely checked out.

Van Buren should play well against 3rd string players just like he did against Southeastern.

He won't be starting next season so I don't understand why there is so much urgency to see him play

LSU would have still lost and much worse than they did.

He's a backup QB for a reason. There's also a reason why every scout is asking which player LSU is trying to target in the portal to play QB next season

Bad that he sent him out late like that
Nuss has been a liability this year

There’s nothing wrong with Nuss’ reaction.

He wasn’t happy. He shouldn’t be happy.
