He has a point. But you have to be able to develop the talent you recruit. Everyone has a ceiling, and if you can’t evaluate that you will have problems. Also that Ole Miss team is built on what Lane wanted it to be he was given time to do that. BK didn’t have the right staff. What he did when Denbrock Jayden first two years was amazing. Should have left that alone and put primary focus on defense because that was the only hole.
Caden can go. He has no vision when running. That’s why his production has been down this year.
We tried that before right ? Didn’t work out the second time.
A few Perlis shirts will do the trick.
He eliminated the culture and tradition that LSU had. Instead of embracing it.
Defense is only as good as its offense. Defense stopped Ole Miss on several occasions but offense couldn’t produce any points.
Every coach at the time for fully guaranteed deals

And hire Napier as OC. They’ll never lose a recruit in Louisiana

HP is checked out. He’s been playing not to get injured as of late. Especially since the ole miss lost. He’s out of position and missing horribly on tackles.
Durham is gone. He dropped on the depth chart. But probably need to try and keep for lack of RB depth next year. Corey Raymond will keep Pickett. Need to keep Parker and Green.
Letting Corey Raymond go, and then not keeping Denbrock as the OC. Worst decisions he could’ve made.
What if MVB could be successful under Sloan ? What if Nuss injury is real and he’s been hiding his progress from his own coach? I turned the game off at the start of the 4th quarter but from what I hear his series leading to a TD was great. If I’m wrong please correct me. Kelly sucks from not putting his best players on the field. No matter years of experience.
Problem is Sloan scheme is RPO for a quarterback that doesn’t want to run. It will never work.
He also brought in Jay Johnson. BK contract sucks but the program needed a big name coach at the time with what Coach O had done his previous two years. Even if he was giving a 4 year contract to begin with he would have gotten an extension after year two. Same thing happened with Florida. Best solution is to figure out how to surround him with better coaches for success. Sloan and O line coach need to go. Maybe even Hankton.
CJ left for more NIL money where he could be a primary. That wasn’t going to happen with Aaron Anderson and a healthy looking Chris Hilton at the end of 2024. Treydez Green was also promising. Then portal additions. He knew he wasn’t going to get the touches. But I think was the best receiver of the 24 season with everyone focus on K2
Nuss took a bad hit in the first quarter I believe. If he had improved. His injury was worsened by it

I thought the same. But I don’t think that’s going to happen. At best they’ll be 8-4 or 9-3. Losses will come at Bama and maybe TAMU and Vandy. Play calling is a definite issue along with Nuss. Joe called the same plays he called last week against LaTech, and they’re not creative at the college level. My son’s team runs it actually
They want every time to put up points like 2019. But a win is a win.
I often wonder why don’t call short passes. Something quick to get the ball out of Nuss’ hands. Run game was practically non existent last year will few flashes. It just seems they won’t allow Nuss to throw the ball at all. Very reminiscent of Les Miles days.
PJ Woodland did the exact same thing. More discreetly on the deep ball that the Clemson receiver dropped
I have a similar situation. However, mines does not like getting the BTA since he experienced it. He knows it follows high pitched orders and he’ll start to back down. It’s tough to not whip him at times. But he’s the youngest of my 3 so he gets away with a lot of shite

Knee pads are more of a hindrance to running full speed and not allowing you to reach your full stride. Because of the knee pad placement it’s less likely that it’ll provide any protection against any impact on the knee. And more knee injuries are sustained from cutting.
I like this. Schools are building new teams every year because of it. The NIL situation also needs a cap and needs to be gradual and performance based.
That would be a good get. Similar attributes of JD5. Could redshirt and sit behind Nuss to learn the offense and them be the front runner in ‘26

We’ve never kept up with Bama Texas or UGA. They’re off different pedigree. When will you guys understand that. LSU is just like any other SEC school. There’s no historical history that defines the program, outside of churning out NFL caliber athletes. But that doesn’t translate to championships. Les won a championship on the back of Saban and Ed O won on the back of Miles. 3 championships in 20 years. The Alabama run under Saban was just different. Nobody will ever do it again.
They didn’t win any championships in the 80s or 90s either, so what was his excuse ????
