It appears that Holmes moves from lane 5 to 4 on the last turn in the 400m. Should he have been penalized for that?

I'm not a track guy but the answer is no. After 50 meters, I believe you can change lanes.

Brazil's run is also posted. Dude can go!

Depends on the event. If you're required to stay in your lane for the whole race, then I believe he gets one warning. After that, it's immediate dequalification iirc.

I am blown away at how well West Ouachita did. They make West Monroe look like a big city school. Country boys did great.

Notice that he changes lanes as soon as he crosses the perpendicular line that starts the home straight. At this point there is no advantage to cut lanes. I am no expert but I would assume it is allowed as long as he does not interfere with another runner.
Holmes is a national level HS competitor in the 400m and I would assume he knows what he is doing. I saw on one of the scout boards that he was within 0.05 sec of the fastest HS time in the country earlier this year or late last year.

Doesn't Holmes run a 4.3, and Dural finished ahead of him in the 200

Dural was the most underrated player we signed last year. He is going to be a stud.
