I hope he isn’t emotional and over thinking it like you. I suspect he understands baseball is a tough sport and you take your lumps.

LSU could probably survive it if the Coach decides to let him throw another pitch before the end of this season.

I say, roll the dice. Let the kid throw another pitch.

Hopefully Big Ben has pulled him aside and told him the story of his first CWS in ‘87. Difference is Ben’s mistake sent LSU home, Guidry’s neither cost lsu a game nor did it end the season.

He has a chance to redeem himself.

He is forgiven. We won the game. Move forward.

Ben McDonald said itt took him a long time to get over the grand slam against Stanford but that was a lot more devastating.
I got over that when Warren Morris’ ball went over the fence.

How to say I haven't watched Gavin Guidry pitch without saying I haven't watched Gavin Guidry pitch.....

Well you are kind of a jackass bc fans are allowed to think about these things. The point is, Guidry does indeed use emotion and play with a lot of emotion. He admitted s much. He’s clearly a confident player. But sometimes on a big stage mistakes can shake confidence and I’m just interested to see him handle it. Hopeful that he will make us all happy.

It’s over with, the game was won. Should be forgotten about and then you go out and compete.

First time on the mound for a freshmen in omaha is tough. He’ll be better for it.

As competitive as he is, he’s probably pissed off and cannot wait to get back out there

"Probably pissed off">>>exactly. Hayden said that Guidry, along with Skeenes, is the one pitcher on the staff no one worries about. His face said it all, he was pissed. Coop was brought in for matchup purposes, a lefty vs a lefty, something CJJ preaches about all the time.

Alene’s was pulled because of pitch count. If Skenes pitch count is 10 pitches lower there, he pitches to that batter.

Is White in a mini slump?
Dude hit two balls last weekend that likely traveled a combined 850'

One collided with Greg Deichman's from a few years ago somewhere over the Midwest, resulting in the absolutely horrible severe weather in the south this past week.

He doesn't "slump"

Exactly. Time is probably going so slow for him, I imagine he wants out there more than anything else.

Hes a competitor, hes not going to brood.

Yeah it's baseball, kids been pitching for years and has never thrown a bad pitch. He is probably scared for life.
Bet he gets a chance to pitch again in our next game and I predict he does great.

The same mentality kicked Cooper to the curb after the first game of the season last year.
