I agree but it was pretty bad. And I've defended danielson over the years (Verne not so much).

There were two plays that revealed the obvious bias. They were both nondescript 12-yard completions near the sideline for a first down. When LSU completed it, the reaction was a ho hum "complete for a first down." When Bama completed it, by Danielsons reaction you would've thought it was a 30 yard completion made under duress.

I prefer the commentary for the ESPN games over CBS anyway.

Our performance gave them little choice.

I just wish they had kept us up to date better with fournette's yards and carries. Maybe a few more comparisons to Henry's would have helped. The 500 times they talked about it weren't nearly enough.

My wife who has no dog in the fight mentioned this. One time when Fournette missed a pass up the middle, Gary said about 5 times how that was a missed opportunity. The next Bama drive, a Bama receiver dropped a pass and he talked about how difficult the pass was and why he couldn't catch it when it just slipped through his hands.
