Using this logic Joe Alleva gets credit for the Saban hire and goes down as tGOAT AD with the multiple NCs from his hires (See Pat Henry).

Some of yall really get on here and just spew out what all the other people here say lol. To state that he had no involvement/influence without any inside knowledge of what goes on is just insane. He is literally the AD. Some people are giving credit to the Gov for just complaining in an interview lol. Like he didn’t just do that for brownie points. We have had a historic few months of home run hires and some of you don’t want to give at least partial credit where it’s due??.

The main credit goes to the folks who wrote the checks. Also, I’m convinced the governor arranged these two as just the two candidates most popular with the fans. He did what politicians do, bought votes with other people’s money. So credit, or blame, also goes to the fans. Whomever they were for was getting hired.

Gonna go out on a limb in saying the ROI in both Lane and Wades contract will be a hell of a lot greater than whatever the last 4 years have been in the 2 sports that actually matter.
And I highly doubt we will have to buy either one of those guys out in 4 years as well.
