I think it might be off all sites because people pounded the over. I should have hopped on it when I read this at lunch. And for all ney sayers, the bet is just voided if the season ends early. That’s just standard...

Biggest gamble here is not knowing who else opts out or forced to quarantine. As mentioned if the season is cut short then the bet would be voided, but not if you have multiple starters quarantined and the game still played.

Gimmie the over. I saw this 6.5 number although some other Vegas establishments have it at 8.

Under normal circumstances, no.
But this season is anything but normal.
Say we lose all three QBs to quarantine. Could happen. That would make any game a tossup. Or Ensminger, Pelini and Orgeron test positive and we go to Starkville coached by a bunch of position coaches and graduate assistants. Way too much uncertainty. Of course the other teams have the same risk.

I usually agree with Vegas, but there is no way this squad doesn't go 7-3 or better. I don't even know how to put a bet down.

We're playing two fewer games, right. In that context 6.5 is like 8.5 for a full schedule. With the opt-outs no one really knows how good this team will be.

One of the factors I would assume Vegas is using that if Brennan gets hurt, opts out, or gets COVID, then we only have a true freshman to back him up.
