Someone help an idiot out. Theyvsayvwe will win by 15, and the total score will be 60. What's the match to figure out what they are predicting the final score will be based off of that?

The way Jimmy Ott explains point spreads is it’s not about what Vegas thinks a team will win buy. It is what they think people will bet on. I never heard it explained like that but if you think about it all they care about is get the maximum amount of money bet on the game. What ever the method is and why they do it is pretty good. They are right more times than they are wrong

If X is the underdog's (A&M) score, then X + 15 is the favorite's (LSU) score. And thus X+X+ 15 = 60. Use your 7th grade algebra to solve for X.

And they'll likely get around 21-24, I can see that, but vs P5 teams their defense is giving up 360 yards a game. bama scored 47, with 293 passing. They ran for 155. Auburn ran for 193. Our rush offense is ranked above both. We average 46 points a game, no way were stopping at 38.
